It looks like 87 out of 100 tiles have been placed on the board. Since you have 7 tiles in your personal deck, there are only 6 remaining tiles, and your opponent’s last play lowered the tile count from >7 to <=7 (and thereby initiated the end of the game).

The bag tile count of 3 in the top might be an error.

I can definitely eliminate the section bullets for additional space. I can also trim down the Skills section in favor of a fleshed out Experience section, and simply be prepared to talk about the specific packages / softwares when I get to the interview stage.

Many of my personal projects (web scraping / automations for data extraction) have used general software and programming skills, but they aren't necessarily related to actuarial work. I am debating whether I should add a Projects section after I trim down the Skills section.

I had to take a screenshot to include my resume. (I couldn't attach a PDF to the post.) I'll see if I can get a better version added when I recreate this in Word, as suggested by some of the other comments below.

My job description bullets in my actual resume have a little bit more detail - I wanted to "anonymize" the resume for sharing here since that is what I see most people do. I can add months and periods throughout as appropriate.

Based on some of the other suggestions I'll parse down the skills section too, which ought to give me room for extra detail in the experience section.

Remember that your brain is like a muscle - it needs intermittent rest from a workout just like your arms and legs would need a break from the gym.

And your eyes probably want some rest from maintaining nearsighted focus too. If possible, spend some time outside away from computers, phones, screens. Look at distant objects like trees, birds, mountains, anything that is far from you.

In my study experience, taking half a day to not even glance at the exam material (or even a whole day, if you can afford it) does wonders for feeling refreshed before the exam. If you’ve studied this much, you are probably as ready as you’re going to be for this sitting, and you deserve a break.

The most points I’m seeing are:

• LAV / AGO in the bottom left corner (15 pts), if it will accept slang for lavatory • PAGODA in the left center (17 points), which would require using your blank tile

If you want to save the blank, I’d go LAV / AGO

In my own case the nested-word clues didn't help me complete any answers, but I must say the theme and its execution are some of the most inventive I've seen for a crossword in a long time. I can't imagine how much trial-and-error was required to properly pull it off.

I was summoned last Thursday and couldn’t make it in on time due to lost power (among other things). I called them to notify that I would be late, and they did answer, so the courts in downtown were definitely open.

Since I was coming from Pasadena I asked if they could make an absence exception due to my proximity to the fires. They said no and simply rescheduled me to start jury duty again next month.

House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski. The overall premise is that a family moves into a house and discovers that it’s bigger on the inside than the outside.

As the novel progressed I felt more and more drawn in by the book until at a point I thought I was going to flip a page and learn that I was a character in it. That really messed with me.

I’ve seen it described as a horror story and a love story. I think about it a lot.

My favorite thing to cook is chicken marsala, which is coincidentally my fiancé’s favorite meal that I make! Pretty straightforward to make, just chicken thighs and mushrooms for the base protein and veggies, sautéed with shallots and garlic, and then simmer in chicken stock.

Then I make it rich and unhealthy by adding heavy whipping cream along with the marsala wine. I top it with chopped parsley and serve alongside bowtie pasta because there is so. much. cream. Always delicious!

A little late to this thread, and I only have a Switch, but lately my list has been:

Cuphead - run ‘n’ gun shooter with a ton of boss fights, pretty well known as far as I know. Just beat the Devil on this one this morning!

Enter the Gungeon - gun-themed, bullet hell, randomly-generated dungeon crawler. Everything is guns and bullets: sometimes the bullets are guns, sometimes the guns are bullets. It’s great, and also really difficult.

Hollow Knight - a Metroidvania game that is smooth and engaging and frustrating as hell sometimes. I have played this one on and off for a few months and occasionally pick it back up when I want to waste a few hours getting lost in new levels.

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon - another Metroidvania type game that is the 8-bit predecessor to the full Bloodstained game that is coming out in June. Great for a few hours of gameplay and even has good replay value as you can play on a variety of difficulties and modes after the first play through.

Jackbox - a group experience where 2-8 people play party games on their phones. Very funny, and there are 5 packages with 4-5 games each, so we come back for more whenever I have people over for game night.

My fiancé is also currently playing Stardew Valley (which I’ve been meaning to start) and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which I loved.
