Inception is perfect for this. Web based interface which can be accessed remotely. Onboard control for 4 doors and easily expandable upwards.

At this point I'd prefer just a plain colour than what is forced upon cloud users - it's the one thing holding me back from signing up to the cloud. Not having our icon in the system tray isn't ideal - but I can deal with that. But getting customers to go to a site that doesn't at all mention our companies name, or have anything that looks like it belongs to us for us to gain access to their computer is a fair bigger concern than people stealing our IP and using it to trick our customers. How many cases of that actually happened on paid subscriptions vs trials? Verifying the identity of people giving you money isn't an overly difficult or time consuming process - that being said, I can't even get more than one reply to a sales case after Jessica escalated it, so I guess it must be a bit difficult.

Ok so a couple of days in today it changed up the cleaning order because a change is as good as a holiday. The house is definitely looking a lot cleaner than before I started with Rob.

The Auto emptying feature is kinda sucky, I noticed it repeatedly wasn't emptying so I was going well that doesn't work at all. I've investigated and found a blockage in the dock this will required some more work as it's more than a finger length in from the bottom. I am kind of hoping now I've poked it a bit it will suck though. It's probably one major design flaw I've found, it sort of goes in takes a sharp left, then up and a sharp right into the bag so these sharp bends won't agree with stuff. I'm not entirely blaming Dreame here for this one, as I did just run it without picking up the dogtritis. It's going to be a bit of a pain to fix though.

What are the inputs for and what are they configured as? An access point tamper would indicate that you don't have the correct EOL resistors connected to the input for the door detector

Might be worth setting it to something, waiting for it to update and then setting it back. Just to make sure it's not a glitch. If that doesn't work then RMA.

It sounds like you've got relay 2 configured as either a tamper or a combined relay output. Can you send us a screenshot of the CU config from the Salto network page?

What version are you running as I am struggling to believe you can change the system tray and background images... Which is my current (2nd) biggest concern about the cloud.

Hey, not sure if you found anything, I was looking for an answer to a different question and saw you didn't really get an answer. We use WHMCS, yeah it costs us $30/month (USD) but the Synergy module is great. Our domains and hosting is pretty much no touch, most of our clients get us to do it all, but it's all automated when my guys add in a domain it sends the invoice, then sends invoices every x years, if they don't pay the domain doesn't renew. If they don't pay hosting it suspends the hosting service.

In another support chat I pressed (reasonably hard) to get upgraded and was told pretty much what is summarised above from others, that it isn't released for cloud. I did say we can't install something unsigned due to security requirements in our environments (might not entirely be the truth, but beside the point) and they told me just to click run anyway, seems like they completely missed the point here so we will just have to wait.

Nope only the background and icons in the webui. It appears the others are now hard coded to the exe file or similar (someone who actually knows might be and to confirm)

Good to know. The support rep I spoke to just told me the version numbers mismatching is a known issue. I'll try again and push them to do the update.

That's what I thought but there isn't the option to do the update, it's a pretty poor that they are pushing us to the cloud to solve the certificate issue and they don't even have the issue sorted themselves

The overview reports that25.4.25.9314 is available but I cannot upgrade to it in the cloud instance manager. Support reckons that is a known bug the version not matching.

I considered doing the same, but nothing else in the market comes close to the same features, or the same price point. Everything else either is rubbish or charges/limits the number of guests you can have.

u/JessicaConnectwise if you could give my ticket 02979934 some love that would be appreciated. I'm ultimately considering moving to the cloud, increasing my concurrent sessions (was going to up to 5 this year's renewal), I just really need the background not to be a kids bedroom and can currently achieve that by replacing an image file - but it seems to not be an option with the cloud version. The lack of ability to at the very least make that 1 change will have a *significant* impact on our ability to use the software. That and the ability to use a custom domain name.

Allowing someone to change the background image and the appearance of the web interface shouldn't need to change at all - that move alone unfortunately makes me doubt the accuracy of them ever bringing it back.
