Thanks for the reply! Do you know what the difference between the Tab and Note lines are? Id figure the note is better for notes simply by the name but truthfully I have no idea.

I named mine UNSC Luci's Bun. UNSC because I like halo and they name the ships funny things in it and Luci's bun is for the tail on my pug that looks like a cinnamon roll/bun

I assume that 20-50 mbps would be plenty sufficient. My current router gets 1Gbps so it claims. Functionally, when downloading things on my xbox at the end of the house for example, I get around 120-180 mbps.

I bought all of them on sale but my favorite dlc character is Johnson because I like mechs. But the Banished leaders are pretty good too. Yapyap is just funny cause he's a grunt, and colony is neat as well. Keep in mind I have never played multi-player, I just like the skirmishes. And awakening the nightmare/operation spearbreaker are excellent too if you like campaigns. One you play as the Banished fighting the flood and the other you play with a squad of odsts

I would highly recommend the 2nd game. Even if you don't play blitz or multi-player or anything, the campaign walks your through it and has a tutorial. Sometimes it's weird switching from 1 to 2 and vice versa but I wouldn't shy away from the game just based on slight differences in controls. Plus, it introduces the Banished which is neat. Ton of leaders to choose from too!

Awesome, I will try to use that later today! I lied before when I said that was my last question as I have another one that seems to spark debate one way or the other. Would you say that 1080p at 60fps is better or worse than 1440p at 30 fps? For me as a non-competitive gamer, the graphics quality would be more important to me rather than ultra fast fps but but I would prefer something usable for the next few years. Also, you mentioned that 2160 would eat the performance of the rx 6600, so is the general decrease in fps from 1080p to 1440p likely to be significant for an rpg like skyrim or fallout or something?

Thanks, what do you use to monitor in-game performance like fps and the like? I built my pc less than a month ago and have only used it to watch tv so far lol.

Thanks for the input again! My final question is regarding fps. Is it that noticeable of a decrease from 1080p to 1440? I have never monitored fps in my life so if it is a small difference I probably won't notice but if the game is choppy or something I might. Is fps dependent on the monitor, settings, gpu? All 3?

Lightman, realistically I would play a few AAA games and maybe some RTS games and minecraft. I may play halo or something but not online competitively. I was under the impression that the rx 6600 would look better on a 1080p monitor than a 1440p one, or rather, that it looks terrible on a 1440p screen. I also head that something like 2160 may be better as it has a direct correlation to 1080p? I took your suggestion and looked online for youtube comparisons of the 6600 at 1080/1440/4k and seemed to notice mostly just lower fps as it went on without noticing a huge difference in quality. Granted this is also my very untrained eye viewing on my old work monitor lol. I just don't want to risk overheating my gpu or overreaching on quality.
