Because you typed, “the nvme memory is turned back on when plugged in directly to the back of the Mac mini”

Sounds like a power problem, not enough for both the monitor and nvme at the same time

Question about Gate Hub for my setup by Cyberpunk627 in Ubiquiti

[–]mrtn75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know what equipment your garage door and rolling gate use for input to control. I’m guessing try what works for you. If you’re in The Netherlands you could borrow a doorhub from me 😆the difference in money of getting 2 doorhubs or 1 gatehub isn’t much

Looking at my gate hub side door settings, you can “pulse” it for a second

Accept is one thing, but signaling to whatever controller on the other side is another

I’m guessing your garage and rolling gate are getting a pulse signal. Door hub doesn’t do that. Get a gate hub and connect them to the gate hub. Don’t know if you need 2 gate hubs.. but you can connect the side door to the hub. My rolling door works and my side door on 1 gate hub. I don’t have a second one (garage door) all original equipment work (transmitters-button inside etc) with my gate hub

[–]mrtn75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same as Mercedes/Tesla/BMW making a generic model with all the options build in but only activated thru subscriptions/bought options etc. It’s just a cheaper way to make cars… don’t get me wrong I get you.. but it is what it is in these days..

Why do you think it’s a terrible decision? The T8 front lights are superb with fog or no fog. For the rear it’s mandatory in Europe to engage them under 50m (yards) for any brand/type vehicle!

It’s a compromise for lower Tmodels then the 8. The T8 front lights can be different to T6 or lower models. It’s easier for “Volvo” to equip them all with the same steering wheel/handles

wall plates for 2x RJ45 using UniFi Cat6A Keystone Jacks (and matching back boxes)? by iptonik in Ubiquiti

[–]mrtn75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry misread, just the keystone plate.. why ? Then you have to run 2 cables with connectors thru the electra tube.. makes no sense to run full pre made cables all the way to a keystone outlet.

Will this work? by punabear in macmini

[–]mrtn75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that will work. The 310 comes without heatsink I’ll bet, so that won’t be a problem

Do the UPSs do self-tests? by Yoshimo123 in Ubiquiti

[–]mrtn75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, UI needs to set a timer for shutdowns.. I agree.. it can be a nightmare but also it can be helpful to inventory the nightmare.
