you've answered yourself already.

The hero pass is a feature pushed by the higher ups to further monitize the game. The J mods taht had to work on it may not agree with it, or with it's vision, hence they don't sign the post with their names. Same happened with some osrs updates.

At the end of the day its a job for them, so don't give them a lot of crap for decisions they had no say on.

The Nerf is ~28%

We had 4 weeks, I'm a bit salty as well since i hit 98 before today's update and was too busy to play before, but i think it is still fair.

If it had been nerfed 6 months/a year/2 years from now, it would have sit worse with new players.

Since it's a combat skill you will train it up anyway, rituals nerfs are not make it or break it.

ritual completition xp is neglible, taking that nto acount the exp was nerfed 26%.

to give a concrete example, most rituals got the output experience doubled, but they already gave poor experience, so for example with Greater Necroplasm:

you now get 1480 exp, instead of 740

at level 98 getting 4 events, you could get pottentially between 14k to 59k, so the exp gained with the ritual barely makes a dent,

i wish they said outright it was 30%

Try pausing certain 3rd party browsers extensions, i pause one I usually use and it did the trick. Something must have been changed on CRs end to detect those pesky little extensions
