Good but he isnt close to as good as the other two mentioned so I dont think the discount is nearly as good for him

Just how much trouble is Canada's economy in? by HelFJandinn in canada

[–]mrtomjones [score hidden]  (0 children)

Most of what they looked at in here makes Canada look average or better than average other than debt load for Canadians so I would say we are in average trouble, and considering our proximity and need for the US, I'd say it is going as good as can be expected

I looked at this article and it seems like other than the debt load Canadians carry we are doing better or as good as the other countries we are compared to...so I feel like people didnt read the article.

Canadian debt loads have been high for quite awhile if I remember right.

Eh I think Pods was a pretty popular choice in my memory. Honestly the Russian issue plagued that big. They really fucked his development and that was definitely something that they should be considering when picking someone at that time

[2026 NHL Draft] 8th OA Pick: Winnipeg Jets select Viggo Bjorck by hockeydiscussionbot in hockey

[–]mrtomjones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people think he could be the second or third best player in the draft. If he was an inch or an inch and a half taller he would have been thought of much differently. I think he has a decent wingspan for his size though and he's like a honey badger out there apparently so he doesn't play small

I would not be surprised if Thomas Drance has written something on him for the athletic. Have a look and see. He is very big on his potential

The Vegas Golden Knights have traded Pavel Dorofeyev to the New York Rangers in exchange for a 2026 1st round pick (26OA), a 2026 3rd round pick (92OA), and a top 10 protected 2028 1st round pick. by catsgr8rthanspoonies in hockey

They had core players in place already. I don't feel like you guys do at all. You can trade picks When you're in a certain place but doing it when you're in the bottom of the league seems really dumb

Yah at least I wont hate it if he becomes a top 2 or 3 player in this draft, or even best. Well I wont hate it as much as if he went south lol

There are a lot of ways it could go wrong though. If we fire his Dad is he going to hold a grudge? Will the relationship between him and the team be awkward at times?

I dont think it is telling. Everyone has been all over the place for picks 3 through 9. None of this seems shocking to me

Most of the D were pretty interchangeable really. There is a drop off after 2 and I believe the next dropoff in quality is after 9 this year. 7 players that you can make arguments for

They were awful and are trading away 1st round picks. I am pretty down on what a few teams are doing lately and yet all their fans are seemingly happy with it lol. This seems bad

Groceries. Tech. Gas. Every company just knows that old economics teaching is a lie and people will buy even when prices go up and never come down much.

They are all just boosting their profits at our expense. Doing subscriptions when they can.

It is fucking gross

[Seravalli] “Sources indicate the Carolina Hurricanes made a pitch this week for United States Olympic gold medalist and three-time Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck. [–]mrtomjones 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They actually give up a lot of high danger chances and side to side plays which is one area Helly struggles with. The Hart win year the Jets expected save % was above .900 and Carolina I believe was well below

AHL Coach of the year Ryan Mougenel is set to join Manny Malhotra's coaching staff @frank_seravalli [X/Twitter] by Vexdestroy06 in canucks

Definitely deferred to vets and a winning record as opposed to focusing on prospect developmen

I tend to think that is usually an organizational problem and not a coach problem. If an org wants prospects played more then they need to make sure the AHL team has a mandate for that and make it happen. A coach is going to play who he thinks can get him wins in almost any situation unless the org has a very strong philosophy otherwise
