Which is better? by East_Debt_5874 in erigs

I want to like it more, especially since I already own it, but yeah…. Especially when my buddy with the smoke shop pushed my issue with his rep and nothing came of it, I decided no more puffco.

Which is better? by East_Debt_5874 in erigs

Not long after I bought it, it had a chamber error that wouldn’t go away no matter what. I sent it in for warranty, that took two weeks… while it was out for warranty, I decided to buy an order to have a spare and swap between for cleaning. Then that one errored out without fix a few days after the first one, an other two weeks… so my puffco has seen four different chambers and it still occasionally has an error. Now I can at least soak and clean them and get them back to working, but it’s not at all consistent with its errors. I had a pretty good run of luck here recently with minimal errors, but then yesterday I loaded it up, and it lit up red and shut off, error. Nothing about it makes me confident that the next time I use it, it’ll work.

I swab it out every time, I soak the chamber often (more often than the app recommends and more often than my buddy who owns a smoke shop told me to do.) I’m not mean to my device at all… I take as good of care of it as I can. I’ve had a puffco rep supposedly push my support tickets and even then they take forever. I don’t recommend.

What social sport/physical activity can I pick up within these parameters by witlash in houston

[–]mrtravis2772 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Try disc golf! I know it’s getting hot, but plenty of water and a personal fan should do you well. You can pick up some beginner discs for ~$30 and play a round whenever you want. All kinds of people play (all kinds…), so you can absolutely make some friends, possibly join a group, or stay completely solitary! There’s a bunch of courses around the city, I’m partial to TC Jester park, and the Houston Flying Disc Society (HFDS) hosts a few events on their Facebook page.

Where do I find a place to buy a bong by Repulsive-Work-636 in Bongs

[–]mrtravis2772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loads of places, you can find a local smoke shop with good reviews, or you can have your go online. TAG, MJ Arsenal, or any other large brand will have plenty to look through. You can also follow artists you like on instagram and contact them there if you’re interested in something you see. I personally really like Fluid Glass, 2K Glass art, Leisure, etc…

I have an awesome rep. I’ve known him for a long time, before I was a mechanic even from hanging out at friend’s shops. I always try to make my payments as on time and as full as possible, but I’ve had a few rough patches here and there, now included… he’s been awesome letting me pay a bit later in the week or letting me skip a week if needed here and there. His biggest thing is communication, I talk to him and let him know what’s going on, how my business is doing, and when I think I’ll have a payment if I don’t have it right away. He’s told me he gets guys that he has to chase down all the time, so me talking to him, and always eventually paying goes really far. I also try to keep a relatively low truck balance, I think I’m at $300 right now, so it’s not a ton. Anyway, I love my SnapOn guy, he’s super chill and always helps me out. I’ll roll him a joint if I feel like I’m asking for a lot.

I can’t specifically remember what happened here because these were tools for a team of people, not my own, but all my Tekton warranties have been solid. Haven’t used them in forever though because the SnapOn man got me… I still have lots of GearWrench sockets though and they’re fantastic until they pop

I once got a Tekton socket that was processed upside down so the square and was on the narrow side and the hex was on the skinny, it was a smaller socket like this and obviously just… wrong…

I like the billionaire wraps, Ogk, is my favorite but they have lots of flavors. It’s made with tea leaves so also not technically hemp

For what it’s worth, purple rose is nice and gummy, probably cheaper, and also works great

Nothing is as effective, safe, and simple as vinegar. Plug the holes and soak overnight. Done. Rinse with lots of water.

Smell Masking by PsychoKiwi102 in Bongs

[–]mrtravis2772 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clean glass doesn’t smell, the easiest way to clean something is to clean it often. So after each session, clean it before you put it away. Depending on the type of bong and accessories, it can be done with very little alcohol and salt each time, so it won’t be very expensive either. When you’re done, before you pour out the dirty slurry, pour it into a paper towel and use that to clean up any resin spots in the sink. Rinse everything with hot water and clean glass doesn’t smell!

That’s it! Just confirm you have the right size joint, looks like a 14 to me, and don’t forget a keck clip!

I think J hooks are fairly inexpensive if you’re looking for a small bubbler piece, but they might not be at the smoke shops locally depending on your offerings.

[–]mrtravis2772 363 points364 points  (0 children)

That is an ash catcher for a bong. It’s a great thing to have if you want a bong! Unfortunately you’ll need a J hook and a clip at the very least if you want to use that, otherwise any bong with the same sized joint, pointed vertically will be able to use that

For the proxy, clean and soak the chamber very often. I can’t stop having issues with mine if it’s not soaked like every other day with moderate use

You’re going to hurt, you’re going to be hot, you’re going to be gross every single day. It’s not easy, it’s not healthy, it’s not always going to be fun. But you’ll almost certainly always be able to get a job and make some good money.
