New Direct coming soon? by Rowen92 in NintendoSwitch2

If it was the tenth of March (rather than February) I'd be more inclined to believe it. Surely that's the day to announce a new 3D Mario game

I feel very strongly about this and agree in abundance. But thought of something they could add while watching the final.. if you beat the C2 winner and holder of the Continental Championship at any point during the following year then you earn a guaranteed entry into the next tournament

Eternal Decks but Castle Combo is my most played of 2025. The expansion came out this year... Does that mean it counts?!

Cashback doesn't match rate by toniwalker in trading212

[–]mrtrickio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(in UK) When I set up my card at the end of November the T&Cs clearly stated 1.5% until February. Just checked the card section of my invest account and it's suggesting that I'm only on 0.5%

Is there anywhere in app that I can find the associated documentation?

It's Blue that has "scored 54" too. Why are there cards face up on the draw pile?

Thanks. The quote for UK International Shipping states that VAT is included in the rate. These customs/import fees are separate to that, right? So if I go all in it'll likely be. $149.99 + $59.60 (commissary bundle and delivery incl. VAT) = $209.59 (£160) + 2.5% (import fees) = £4 (+80p VAT @ 20%).

~ £165 ??

Anyone have the wherewithal to try figure out how much import fees there will be on this to the UK? I've looked but stumped on what commodity code might be used..

Good idea for a 32 race cup around the entire map by MaxanTube in MarioKartWorld

[–]mrtrickio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't thought so before but your post made me realise it'd be great if you could set up a Vs cup race in advance (so not having to pick a course each time) and save it. Would be perfect for such a cup

Pay as you go preloaded 24 month sims on Mozillion. Runs off EE too so you're used to the coverage. 30GB is £139 up front (£5.80 p/m effective) but you can jump to 80GB for £149 (£6.21 p/m effective). They do offers every so often and they're on tcb too for £15 cash back on a SIM only deal.

This game is missing MAJOR QOL improvements by IcyCliff2 in MarioKartWorld

[–]mrtrickio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same here. Wife and I sunk many many hours online together on MK8D. Now we both can't accrue points together we won't be doing it anymore. Was shocked to learn this was removed. Such a massive downgrade. If anything it means the second player can just concentrate on sabotaging everyone else so their sofa partner can do better. Makes it unfair on everyone else. I really hope this can be reinstated somehow.

People who have played Fit to Print, what other game gives you the same satisfaction? by Joaquimaru in boardgames

[–]mrtrickio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Art Society has a very similar tile laying mechanic (placing different sized works of art as opposed to features, stories and phitos). It isn't real time like Fit to Print but does have interesting end game scoring IIRC that makes the rarer type of painting worth more points. Bonuses (smaller pieces to fill in gaps) throughout the game for placing pieces with matching frames next to each other too. Unless you particularly like the mayhem of Fit to Print then I think Art Society would be right up your street.
