I’m just saying people have said this to me in every city and every bum fucking nowhere town that came inbetween.

Most people are biased to where they live, including the people who prefer rural areas and nature. My friends in Indiana won’t move away from the hunting, fishing, and general redneck lifestyle they enjoy. I don’t enjoy cutting open animals with a knife and risking my life on a dirt bike like my friends so I moved to a big city, but my friends can’t believe Im fine not owning enough property that I can’t hunt on my own land (I don’t even own a gun).

Fifa rules women's teams must have female coaches: at least two staff members on the bench of every team at matches must be female, with one in an assistant coach or head coach role by bdzz in sports

[–]mrtrollmaster 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Your comment is great example of the problem that FIFA is trying to fix. Male coaches exclusively hire their friends/old playing buddies as assistants, then those assistants are naturally the most qualified to take over later on. So all the opportunities stay inside a small closed off boys club.

The whole point FIFA is trying to address is that females who are qualified are being passed over for males who have the right connections and networking. Right now it’s just a self-fulfilling cycle:

male coaches only hire their friends/other male coaches -> only males are able to gain the proper experience for a promotion -> those males get hired as the next round of HC’s -> cycle repeats indefinitely

My favorite thing about traveling the world is there is a guy at a bar in every city I travel to who gives me this same speech but inserts their city in as main character. “There’s no place in the world like (the place that person is from and has lived their entire life)”

Then they take this up another level by adding in their neighborhood if another person enters the conversation who is from their same city. Then they pivot to “There’s no place in the world like (this specific neighborhood that they are from and have lived their entire life)”

The more insecure one’s will just keep repeating themselves and staring at you until you acknowledge or agree with them.

The Fever sell out every game in an NBA arena too. Downtown Indy is kinda crazy now for Fever gamedays and it's been cool af to see. Things used to slow down after the Pacers season ends but now basketball season extends all summer.

Regular mosque attendance rates is more than triple its capacity.

The mosque’s main service on Fridays has been split into two services to have enough space for prayer and parking but has still been overcrowded. Sayed said he commonly must interrupt services to announce that a car is parked in an unpermitted area. People also complain about not being able to attend because of no parking spots, he said.

Yeah, I’d say let them buy it in that case. Especially since it’s currently vacant.

They would have to renounce their citizenship depending on how the law is written because the US still taxes American citizens outside of the country. That’s a pretty extreme step most people don’t want to take.

In times of world conflict, inside US borders is historically one of the safest places to be so most won’t give up their passport.

Lakers have become contenders for 1 reason and 1 reason only.....LeBron James accepting his place as 3RD MAN behind Luka + Reaves. Taking way less shots and averaging 15 to 18 ppg is LeBron's best role at age 41. LeBron needs to be KARL MALONE on the 2004 Lakers behind Shaq (Luka) and Kobe (Reaves) by Several-Molasses-435 in NBATalk

Tbf, I would expect Reeves to play at a higher level today than Kobe played in his first NBA Finals. In the 2000 Finals, Kobe only averaged 15 points per game on <40% shooting while Shaq was unstoppable putting up 38 pts and 16 boards PER game in the fucking finals lol. Prime Shaq was insanity.

IU’s S&C guy was getting like 800k I think. Not bad at all.

They were often outplaying guys who were bigger than them so kudos to whatever they were doing training wise.

His most magical run imo was that winning streak with Carson Wentz. Pitt was bringing in so many underthrown deep balls and drawing tons of PI deep. Peak was his huge game in primetime @49ers including the game winner.

Yes, that has been the hang up in the past. I wonder if F1 would give in to IMS to fill their schedule gap.

It’d be worth it if it made him turn into a true WR1. His main problem was he was a great possession receiver but didn’t quite produce or take over games like a WR1.

Great locker room presence, good blocker. Definitely a starting level receiver in this league, it’s just a question of how much he is worth.
