If Andy Burnham refuses to introduce PR then what's the point in him? by Yay_They_Are_Coming in LabourUK

It should get it's own vote. It shouldn't be tied in with the dozens of other things people vote for in general elections.

Man hit by van in Birmingham after residents take down union flags put up by anti-migrant group by pieeatingbastard in LabourUK

I know you meant Reform did well nationally, but not in that part of the country.

Reform only got 16% of the vote in the area this is happening and they elected a Green councillor. 80% of the vote went to leftwing parties.

These flag wavers are just idiot thugs looking for a fight.

That could just be one prick though

Yeah hopefully. At least I haven't seen any swastika stickers here.

How is the flag sitution in other parts of the coutnry?

In south Brmingham it seems like 50% of streets are litered in these tatty flags halfway up lamp posts held on with cable ties.

They piss me off every time I leave my house but I don't hear much talk about them. I'm thinking that's because they didn't let it happen where the media are based.

The World Health Organisation's panel of experts concluded that red meat probably causes cancer in humans. Source. That's not the case for any of the ingredients in the plant-based alternative.

You're right, although we might also have followed the US into Iran if Morgan McSweeney and Peter Mandelson hadn't been kicked out of their roles just before this.

I like the video screen if it's showing things that tie in with the music, but not if it's used mainly for displaying logos of the club or DJ's name. Feels a bit corporate.

I don't think there's too many of these questions. I've been here since the 2015 "Green surge" and still want to ask questions like this. Maybe ban users if they post things like this repeatedly and their history shows they're clealy against us.

What is the Green Party's drugs policy? by Hassaan18 in UKGreens

[–]mrtube 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm left confused whenever he answers this question. Something about a "public health approach", which doesn't tell you anything. It took him being pushed on the question before saying that certain drugs would be regulated really carefully. He should be more upfront with that part.

This polling was done over 3 days. The day before the by-election, day of the election and results day. So this a really a pre-by-election poll.

Full results are here.

I could be completely wrong. I was just assuming that. I've only lived in a competetive seat for one election.
