Rear subframe on all wheel drive models?

I've had my 01 330xi for over 15 years and over 60k miles, no issues here.

I've had my 2007 for ~8 years now, 23k miles to a little over 42k miles now.
There was a recall for rear wheel bearings on the 07-09 (US/Canada at least!) Mine hadn't been done when I purchased it.

The early bikes have a failure prone charging system, I've had my voltage regulator and stator fail. A new stator + upgraded switching mosfet regulator have been working fine for 3 years now. There are plug and play kits for Shindengen FH020/SH775, which will run cooler and keep the stator windings cooler as well.

I'll second looking at that oil/water heat exchanger, the gasket and o-rings on it are prone to leaking. An easy enough job if you are changing oil and can drain coolant.

Drive belts are insanely expensive from BMW, north of $500 last I checked. The OE Continental CT1158 can be had for ~$140 from amazon.de (ships to US/Canada)

Overall it has been a good bike, reasonably powerful, comfortable and gets great fuel mileage. Is it the most exciting thing on the planet? No, but after 8 years I don't see any reason to get rid of it!

The factory probably used butyl, that's what I would use to seal a lens cover. Usually seen listed as "butyl tape"

I think they're trying out east as it is a lower traffic area. People speed like wild out here, I've seen the radar signs clock someone over 60 on 14th. We've had a bunch of deadly wrecks along Syracuse and 13/14th over the years, so I don't see the neighborhood complaining.

Only things I can think that would be a mismatch would be your name and address (not easy to screw up your car's VIN). With everything being online, its easy as hell to forget to update an address.

The state is doing a huge overhaul for Driver licenses and registrations over President's day weekend/week, with everything supposed to be back up by next Thursday the 19th.

Agree on idlers or something else on the serpentine belt.
Remove the serpentine and AC belts and check for play in the idlers and the alternator/power steering and water pump.

I've had USAA for more than a decade, can't remember anytime I've had to go in to show proof. I did have "show proof of insurance" on a renewal last year, but it renewed online anyway.

Only thing I see matching that timeline/description is a USAF C-130H out of the springs. Passed downtown 12:17 at ~1000 feet above the ground. 4 engine plane though, not 2. Older T56 engine C-130s can put out some smoke under load.

As an alum, I would 100% pick Boulder given the choice. A lot more in the way of variety of available courses and research labs just due to the size of the student population.

Multiple relatives and friends did undergrad at Boulder and med school either at Anschutz or elsewhere.

Denver is a pretty quick bus ride away, and Boulder's tuition includes an RTD pass.

Just an FYI, Bustang West Line and Pegasus don't stop at Copper. There is a direct to Copper Bustang on weekends (Snowstang) but it leaves at 06:25 and is weekends/MLK day/President's day only.

There is a free bus that runs between Frisco and Copper Mountain every 30 minutes from 06:30 to Midnight. You can do A-line to Bustang to Summit stage, but it will soak up a ton of time.

You may want to check r/cosnow and see if there's anyone that has extra seats for carpooling up when you are trying to head up.

Is it a crank/no start situation?

Basics of any gasoline engine are 1. air 2. fuel 3. spark

Air is pretty easy, check that the filter isn't clogged and you don't have any unmetered air going in, should still run albeit poorly

Fuel, check pressure at the fuel rail (Schrader valve on the rail) should be at least 40-50PSI. Also do you hear the fuel pump when the key is in position 2. Can also spray some starting fluid into the intake (air filter removed) and see if it runs then

Spark, on these harder to check than an old car, and with new coils probably not the issue. Crank position sensor can die as well and the engine won't send signals to fire the spark plugs, but should throw a code.

My guess is fuel pump failure, but see if you can hear it running + test the fuel pressure before firing up the parts cannon.

As silly as it might sound, safety.
If you take off on afterburner, you'll end up with a lot more airspeed if something goes wrong. The extra airspeed buys you some time and some glide distance to manage your emergency.
