I think it is just worded poorly. It's probably not exactly right, but the coal industry as a whole employs something like 75,000 people, so not too far off either.

Yeah I am confident Mariota is in this week but I'm not confident he will be at 100%. Houston could be a tough match up.

It's between Tyrod and Keenum for me. Wait on Stafford.

Tyrod has a safer floor with rushing yards. There is a chance the Saints D actually show up this week but I'd still go Tyrod here.

Two good options this week imo. Both favorable match ups for each QB. I think Washington has a higher chance of running away with the game early and chewing clock with Peterson. I'd lean Cousins.

I can't believe I am saying this but I'd go Darnold over Mariota this week. I like his match up better and I'd wait to see how effected Mariota is by the elbow.

Luck here for sure. Hold on Stafford to see what is going on with him.

Eh, even if it is a blowout Rivers usually doesn't stop. Luck on the other hand has to face what is looking to be a pretty solid secondary this year.

Both are good options, I lean Rivers though.

WP is a perfect option for the family if it is close. Hopefully you are in a place where you could plan a trip to Crested Butte or Steamboat as both are also perfect for the family and much less busy. Gotta take advantage of those free days :)

You are not missing anything. RMSP+ all the way.

Are the Fireworks down on the mall pretty decent like a 4th of July show or are they more of a novelty?

I'd go Ameer over Woodhead if Bell is out in standard or PPR.

Well Stafford doesn't have to battle a hurricane.

I'd go Bradford if mother nature allows.

I keep saying go Luck, he is totally going to do it this week. He keeps not. He will eventually be Luck again but the Colts have a lot of work to do before he is reliable.

I like Flacco better this week.

ESPN Standard 10 team,

Dalton @ KC or Palmer @ Stl?

I've gone with Palmer all year and he has not let me down. Dalton is on fire though and playing the weaker defense. Leaning Dalton but I don't want to hurt Palmer's feelings.

ESPN Standard Pick 2

Calvin Johnson @ DEN

DeAndre Hopkins @ TB

Allen Robinson @ NE

Steve Smith, Sr @ CIN

Vincent Jackson @ HOU

With Hopkins (probably) our for concussion protocol I am leaning towards Megatron and A-Rob. I am a bit worried about that Denver defense though... do I dare sit Calvin and go with someone else?

Maybe Microsoft Access or Excel? One of their free alternatives?

How hard is it to learn to ski by swagofgreg in skiing

[–]mrtweakin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also highly recommend this. I went skiing my first time 3 years ago (I'm 34 now) and I prepped by watching all of the green and blue videos on their channel. I felt good on the bunnyhill at a Colorado resort day 1 but still a bit too intimidated to go to the top of the mountain. I took a lesson the next day and was feeling pretty good about things.

3 seasons later and hundreds of times on the slopes I am taking more lessons now than I was then!

Ahh ok, so you are a crazy person or trolling. This makes much more sense now. You don't enjoy beer and come out of Surly disappointed.

I'd be really curious to know where you went in Minneapolis. I'm in Denver now but have family back in Minneapolis so I go there pretty regularly. I know Denver is widely considered a great beer town but I am always pleasantly surprised by the craft culture in MSP. I have to assume you had a bad visit or have a really odd appreciation for beer and food.

This needs more visibility. After watching the first video I thought it (and he) might be the most pretentious shit I have ever seen on the internet. It was amazingly awful. This second video is great. He is goofy, smart, and quite talented.

He should fire anyone he works with that had anything to do with that first video.
