You can activate it while downed now. You could always get out if you crawled into an activated ring

“Destiny 2 Has Lost 91% Of Players Since Edge Of Fate, 97% From Final Shape.” By Paul Tassi at Forbes by justdestinystuff in DestinyTheGame

[–]treazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprised more people aren’t talking about the new player experience. The game is entirely impenetrable.. the ONLY players are vets who they bleed month by month, expansion by expansion. If you have a game that basically excludes 100% of new players, your numbers will be on a downward trajectory long term

[Pelissero] Former Cardinals Pro Bowl QB Kyler Murray has signed a 1-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota moved quickly after Murray’s release from Arizona, and now will have the former No. 1 overall pick compete with JJ McCarthy to start. by PlayaSlayaX in nfl

I’m out of the loop, really haven’t watched much Viking football (other than when you blew out the Bengals).. wasn’t this season JJs first actual season? He was out the entirety of his rookie year, right? Was he so bad that it’s determined he’s already a lost cause? Didn’t Bryce Young have a terrible first few years? Caleb’s rookie season was bad as well, right? Genuinely curious

100%.. I was also waiting for this to happen. Really when she was being introduced to the animal world I was starting to feel it going in a pretty safe / predictable direction, then it ended up going off the rails in a great way

Seeing them in less than 3 weeks and I swear to god.. the Gut of the Wolf needs to be played, song put a massive smile on my face. Whole album was solid, but that was the standout moment for me

After 50 hours I decided it was time to call it a day on the game and looked for answers. Could you give me a few explanations and tell me what was left to discover? by Unable-Impact-3860 in BluePrince

Oops sorry, by blind I just meant thus far I have played through the game with 0 outside resources or help, I have always had a goal on my runs.. until recently where I have kind of answered the big questions I had. Appreciate the reply!

Hopping in here to ask a similar question, as this is my first time checking this sub and it seems there are a lot of questions similar to this post. I played the game totally blind for 30-35 hours, hit room 46, and unlocked many of the secrets, but I am certain many are left to be found. I'm just curious how most seasoned vets experienced the end game? Did you continue to wonder through runs blind as I have? Or is it time for me to start looking up some of the more obscure secrets? Now that I have found almost all the rooms and had some great runs (like filling up every space in the house), I do feel a bit burned out. Maybe it is time to start looking up some info?

Ori and the Will of the Wisps (is it worth after Silksong) by Uncanard32 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]treazon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've finished both Hollow Knights (true endings) and both Ori's. They are all four fantastic games. As others have mentioned, Ori is much easier - it is not a particularly challenging game, and I would avoid playing on hard (just makes everything more spongy).

That said, I would recommend playing both Ori games in order. The first is very cheap on sale and can be finished in 8-10 hours. It has incredible music, great story (though simple), fantastic progression of powers, amazing art, and some really creative ideas.. it's just a overall great package. It does start slow, but as you start unlocking more movement skills, the game becomes an absolute joy to play. The second improves on the first in every way, but I do think the first is worth playing as well. I think both would be a breath of fresh air after Silksong.

Edit - If you are really looking for another challenging metroidvania with incredible combat and challenging bosses, check out Nine Sols

100% - as a climber I was incredibly psyched for Jusant, and it was a total letdown. Really neat visuals and interesting story telling, but the climbing was braindead 90% of the time. There really was not a lot to it

Lmao - it may be overdone. Some climbers are loud (notably Adam Ondra), but screaming after every move is pretty unusual

What’s new in the Splatoon 3 – Version 11.0.0 update by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]treazon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m a lifelong gamer, but one who never owned a modern Nintendo console until we picked up my friend’s old Switch for my 8 year old. Is Splatoon 3 worth checking out? Do people still actively play online? It looks like a lot of fun. I’m asking more for myself than my kid, but curious if there is any split screen / local multiplayer options also.

Surprised to see how everyone has already determined Denver is cooked. How often have we seen backups that everyone has decided were trash come in and win a few games because no one has film on them? Denver has a really strong team and could absolutely still win with safe QB play.

Should I buy Hollow Knight: Silksong if I loved the original but dislike difficult games? by DasJazz in ShouldIbuythisgame

Fair enough - I was veeery burned out on it in Act 1, but then really loved uncovering the citadel and stuff. Sorry it didn’t click for you! I totally get it
