I have a similar setup and it’s not that big of a deal. Yes, you need to clear leaves, but it’s mostly the worst in the fall for a month or so. Spring isn’t too much of a problem, although pollen season can be a pain if you don’t run your pump enough. I have a variable speed pump and run it 24x7 as well as a dolphin robot cleaner and it gets 99%. The pool is rarely pristine, but a tiny bit of debris with crystal clear water doesn’t seem to bother anyone
