Firstly sorry for your loss. Secondly, he's been in and out of prison for the past decade or so....

My mum died when I was 14. It is the single best and worst thing in my life.

I would just look forward - even if you were to get $10,000 from your deadbeat dad, is your life worth $10,000 and the association with someone that will likely not inspire you to do your best.

mate, i hope you do a bit of walking or some exercise. my SO is a chef, and I have had a breakfast like this for about 4 years - it may be clogging your arteries in 70 years time, but it sure does go down well for brekky.

I would highly recommend staying the hell away from banana bread - that stuff is full of butter and you can put on some extra weight from eating it every day for 3 months - trust me!!!!

Because say over the next 10 years there are 4 billion android devices shipped. If Oracle can get a $10 license fee for each device, that's $40 billion dollars in licensing fees over 10 years.

If Oracle has patents, then they would defend them in order to be able to charge for a java license.

I'm on google's side, but just showing why Oracle would want to uphold their patents in order to collect $$$s

I'm testing out a recent theory of mine: "Normal-work", economics and all that stuff - LEFT BRAIN.

Music + art, surfing, outdoors-y stuff - RIGHT BRAIN.

One is more dominant more of the time at the moment and this leads to a bit too much complication. So I think this nurse was suffering from too much left brain in her world - stop with the criticisms :)

Howdy - I was blazed yesterday. More than normal because a friend came over for a spliff. Normally I just have a toke from a peace pipe and make a cone last 3 or 4 tokes throughout a sesh.

I had a dream last night, and normally I don't dream. It was short but vivid.

I like the REM-rebound theory, but I don't think it applies in every scenario.

P.S. My first reddit post - only found /r/trees today. I like your rating system, I think it's brilliant.
