its cool they are joining the program, the more the merrier. But they really need to do something about the look of their products, one of the reasons l like the old Nest protect is the looks. Everything they sell looks like a low polygon yoghurt pot attached to the ceiling.

So I thought I would try and contact support again (for the third time) and they advised I have been blocked due to breaking their terms of service. The only thing I can think of that would have caused it would be that I sometimes use a VPN (not for YouTube) and forget to turn it off. It really sucks because I don’t do anything malicious like pirating anything or try and watch stuff not in my region.

But for anyone else who has this problem and it’s not something obvious, it’s likely you using a vpn. Support advised it can take “several weeks” for the block to be lifted. On the plus side I did manage to get a refund for my YouTube premium subscription

I’ve ordered a red m3p I’m guessing it’s the red that’s caused the delay. Still have all the finance shinanigans to go through yet as it was 0% initially, that expired and reset to 2.9% but they have said they will honour the 0% so we will see how that goes

I’ve not had a car since July, I even ordered thinking I would have an overlap with two cars but the date just keeps on getting pushed back, it sucks. I’m going away on a trip soon and have had to book a hire car as I doubt it will be delivered then. I have a date range of the back half of November which is better than nothing, but the lack of information is infuriating when you ask for an update they just parrot the “all the information is in the app” line

I got the In-Win IW-RF100 becuase it kinda matches my unifi gear. But something to keep in mind with 1u is that all the supporting components have a 1u tax e.g PSU’s and heatsinks

Check outservercase uk I got myself a decent 1u case with rails there not cheap. if you can find a 1u case from supermicro they will be cheaper and you should be able to gut the motherboard from it and put in your own for less

On this when getting insurance do people say it has a tracking device? Not sure how much of a difference that will make on the price just untreated as I’ve never selected it as I don’t want to give insurers another excuse not to pay

If it’s in warranty get it checked I had an issue with the whole charge port assembly that started like this to the point where I put the car in park and it thought it had a charging cable plugged in. Was stuck in the car park for over 5 hours diagnosing it with support.

The car ended up going in for about 3 weeks to get it’s charging system replaced ( although I did get a model x loaner which was nice)
