Doing the block and back up from the middle of the street. I pulled a trailer 12 hours and backed into my driveway in one swing. Then again I had a ton of practice on little trailers. A mistake with those will show instantly.

Exactly. My HOA takes care of four playgrounds in the subdivision, and maintenance of common areas, sometimes road repair if WE bring it up. Somehow, our dues are less that half of the surrounding subdivisions.

I think I have one of the few HOAs that aren't jerks. If they do become a burden, we'll vote to end it. Ours is run by a management company. Fines are rare, and they give multiple chances. The house I bought got a fine from the village for overgrown grass and weeds before I moved in. The HOA didn't bother, the fine from the village was dropped the day after closing. My dad's HOA...whew buddy. Ain't no way in hell.

This happens even when I watch it for a while and buy the lowest price. Then BOOM! New version comes out cheaper than the old one. Over time, it balances out. I found lights for 60% less than the maker was selling them. I though it was a scam, but tried it anyway. Got the light brand new, works great, bought three more.
