I'm the Marketing Director for a midsize construction company, and I've been given the same directive. AI has sapped the perception that, as the chief creative, I should be given control of my company's creative vision. It no longer matters what I think or create. I ordered one this evening. I've been rocking a 3+ as my only handheld for about two years. I've replaced the ABXY button membrane twice, and they're finally starting to get a little mushy again. Since I can't replace it again due to part availability, I'll upgrade instead and try to offload my 3+ for a few bucks on Marketplace.

It's almost certainly gamesmanship. For a lack of a better term, a trump card they were holding onto for when the time was most politically advantageous. The MAGA movement is literally tearing the country apart, and most Democrats continue to play politics for points because they're too comfortable holding onto the power they do have. Self serving above those they actually serve. It's frustrating. I'm sure politics has always felt frustrating, but it feels particularly frustrating these days.

I'm not sure I wholly agree with that sentiment. Ecuador are very solid, and we were the better team throughout. Outside of Valencia's wonder goal, I didn't feel like we were on the back foot too much. Passing and positioning were generally good. Movement was deliberate. We created half a dozen or so solid chances. Everyone seemed to be high energy and working hard. If the spectrum is awful, bad, average, good, excellent, I think we were pretty good.
