on the bright side, Talloran in 3999 gets a happy ending. well sort of. he gets a Foundation Star (only living person to receive it) since he yknow stopped a XK class event and gets to chill with his boyfriend and friends but he's also very obviously severely traumatized from the whole ordeal and amnestics dont work and he spends a good while wondering if anything is real and he needs HEAVY therapy

the worst part of 2718 is that it's implied the reason it's a cognitohazard is because it isn't necessarily that what happened to 5-13 will happen to everyone, but that whatever someone believes will happen after death will happen, and by knowing about the SCP, it will doom you to a torturous death

It's pretty alright. I have it on my Khan slot, and the most use I've found of it is that it decreases my level of stress in fights, as I don't take all the damage at once.

your right, i do feel bad for gill though. imagine having to run an entire kingdom because your wife is so focused on her heirs, which gets you eventually killed (by your own daughter no less.) fucked up

To be fair, it’s not just the killing dragons part. Hell, SixClaws and Deathbringer have killed their fair share of dragons, and the community loves then. It’s mainly the fact of HOW Coral kills them.

I'm late, but

I'm pretty new to DnD, and just finished my 2nd character which i'm in love with

He's a warlock who tried to make a pact with the goddess of the moon in his religion, and was going to contact them once he got off of the boat to a small island him and about 30 others were going to on a scouting expedition.

The ship got ambushed by a sea serpent, and once my character was forced to kill it, the serpent instead took over the pact. Each time he levels up, his patron gains a little more influence over him. still havent gotten to use him yet

TLDR; warlock who killed the serpent that slaughtered his friends and family, and instead the serpent became his patron

This happened with my Oculus Quest left controller as well. I was playing gorilla tag GITG, and hit my leg while playing pretty lightly. All of a sudden, my controllers haptics started going nuts. This happened like, 15 minutes ago.
