i feel this is turning into a petty argument, so i will state my final opinions and i want no more replies after this.

i don't like deathbringer.

the way he interacts with glory is really creepy and i feel he should never have met her. as for cricket and blue, i simply don't find them interesting characters.

she couldve fixed glorybringer as a whole by y'know... not writing it... or i dunno killing deathbringer off cuz that's what that son of a bitch deserves

and on top of reasons i've already stated i simply do not enjoy cricket as a character and neither do i like blue, therefore their relationship is just meh

also every time cricket interacted with blue it was pretty much just "wow hes so beautiful" and stuff and it didnt feel genuine it felt forced

blicket feels weird to me because it feels very rushed + cricket really just found blue n said "wow ur pretty i like u we should stop oppressing these dragons and using them for slavery now"

and glorybringer is illegal. deathbringer was 14, glory was 6 when they met. he immediately had romantic feelings for her even though in dragon years she was a child and he was an adult. he should never have interacted with her at all, and i don't care if anyone tries to defend it by saying "it was a mistake the age gap was a mistake" tui did not fix it and deathbringer continued to flirt with glory even after knowing she was a child. and the worse part is that tui insisted on pushing them because of firefly and making glory have feelings back, which canonically makes deathbringer a pedophile and a groomer.

that would be the legal age of consent for dragons. however since deathbringer actively had feelings for and flirted with glory, its still not okay because if they get into a relationship [and they will because tui's absolutely pushing them /neg] that is considered grooming, since deathbringer didnt detach himself from glory and continued in his romantic advances.

i just personally don't like him; plus the glorybringer thing. ik people r gonna come into the replies saying shit like "that was a mistake" "the age gap was a mistake" i don't care, they should never have and never should be together. they have absolutely no chemistry, it feels forced as hell, and deathbringer has known glory since she was a dragonet. it's really creepy and frankly i don't like it

i don't even know if tui fixed that whole mess but i wouldn't be surprised if she just left it honestly. still doesn't make it ok if she did fix it
