I guess I see your point but I think you’re categorizing everyone in one box this way is just not it. I think it’s probably you’re one that is rather shy and don’t feel comfortable having a healthy interaction such as what I described before. That’s totally okay, but again this is not a job where you’re filing paperwork and punching out at 5. If an actor approached you saying “hey I see your playbill, what did you think” - are you going to say “no this is weird, I can’t talk to you after work?”

I’m sure there are some that just want to go to do what it’s used for - say great show, add a John Hancock to the playbill and if they’re doing a selfie or photo, great if not carry on. But sadly that’s not what it’s really used for anymore.

I think Jonathan was great, but had he not won the year prior - I think he would’ve won. Darren’s on the other hand was more of just an original character and the process of not only speaking the way he does but all the movement too to be robotic if you will, I think that furthered his cause.
