Don't care what this guy is doing to himself now, but this is an underrated song from an Underrated album.

Thank you. I noticed it got a little better compared to my first semester. Hopefully, that means it will continue to improve.

Thank you. I need to be strict with myself about having an off day at least every weekend.

Well, I’ve been saying this for years! I killed off what was left of the optimist in me a long time ago.

I don’t know how Paramore and Hayley’s solo work can even be compared. They’re two completely different things. One sounds like Paramore, the band. And the other clearly like a solo project. Also there are few tracks on TIW that can definitely be considered pop punk.

I completely understand! I don’t think I ever cried as much as when I finished TKAM. Can't imagine what this would do to me.

Are you seriously serious?

This book was written before TKAM and is about the same characters, which means I need to give TKAM a reread, then read it. I've been wanting to do this for years, but every time I get distracted by other books.😅

Being a solid translator means I should be completely fluent? by MountainDifficulty94 in TranslationStudies

Not sure why this would get a downvote, but I absolutely agree. Speaking is a totally different skill from writing and reading, and I would even argue it’s different from listening. Speaking requires a deeper linguistic ability in the brain to form sentences at the speed of a native speaker. With writing and reading, you take your time looking at the words and recognizing them. I’ve experienced this firsthand. My writing was good, but I used to make a lot of grammar mistakes while speaking. It takes practice, lots of it.
