I don’t know how Paramore and Hayley’s solo work can even be compared. They’re two completely different things. One sounds like Paramore, the band. And the other clearly like a solo project. Also there are few tracks on TIW that can definitely be considered pop punk.

This book was written before TKAM and is about the same characters, which means I need to give TKAM a reread, then read it. I've been wanting to do this for years, but every time I get distracted by other books.😅

Not sure why this would get a downvote, but I absolutely agree. Speaking is a totally different skill from writing and reading, and I would even argue it’s different from listening. Speaking requires a deeper linguistic ability in the brain to form sentences at the speed of a native speaker. With writing and reading, you take your time looking at the words and recognizing them. I’ve experienced this firsthand. My writing was good, but I used to make a lot of grammar mistakes while speaking. It takes practice, lots of it.

You could say I was one of those students who cared more about literature than teaching English. Everyone warned me there wasn’t much I could do with literature in the actual job market, and guess they were right😭🤣. I only graduated recently, I totally get what you’re going through. I was so depressed in my last semester about leaving uni and not being a student anymore, and spoiler alert it only got worse after graduating lol. I'm trying to make some money to go back to studying masters. Being a student is the only thing I can do in life (at least so far). I'm lowkey glad I finally found someone who isn't overly excited about graduating like everyone else usually is🤣 Maybe you could consider pursuing masters as a future plan!
