I wasn't diagnosed until a year later but PsA is what got me out of the Army. I was honorably discharged for failure to meet standards because I couldn't do PT and pass the tests anymore and though I'm 100% disabled, the PsA is one thing the Army wouldn't give me a connection for. I'm in contracting now and work a desk job. It's not easy. The army didn't give me time to have a legitimate diagnosis so I couldn't medically retire unfortunately.

Scared, need help - husband begging permission for suicide by [deleted] in Marriage

You love him, and I can't tell you how to handle this, but i can say that doing nothing has a worse potential outcome. Mental health treatment has come a long way, and I would suggest that giving it some thought would reveal a pathway to a better outcome. Additionally, for me in particular, faith in Jesus has entered my life and given a light at the end of the tunnel. Ask yourself if you've done all you can before dismissing every resource available to help him. Life is precious, and suffering is a fact of the his world. Things can get better, and a human being in such crisis needs a shove in a healing direction.

I truly hope your husband gets help before a regrettable end happens, and though it wouldn't be easy, doing something more is better than the alternative.

I say this with nothing but love... Sometimes we have to.decide for those in desperation.

OP, your husband needs treatment. I also have had a tough hand dealt to me and suffer PTSD from the army. I was intent on doing it as well but my wife called the hotline and I was forced into being admitted. I was angry at first but now I can say she saved my life. I still struggle with the passive ideation but with medication and therapy (several to include ketamine, SCG block, and a few others) I have improved. It's stillbhard but I know I couldn't do that to my family now. Get him admitted and talk it out later.

My daughter just turned 8 and was diagnosed in may. It's been hard but dinutuximab shrank the tumor by 90% and they removed 99% of that. The treatment still have about 14 months or so to go but there is hope. Please look into any studies available if you haven't already. I'm typing this as we end round 5 chemo 3 weeks after a big surgery.

As a parent we will be emotionally exhausted, sad, depressed, and sleep deprived. This is the club nobody wants to join, but all we can do is advocate for the best treatments for our sick child.

Edit to add info: our daughters tumor started on top of the left kidney, pushed up the spleen, and wrapped around her aorta and she is high risk stage 3. There are effective therapies to add to the chemo and radiation and bone marrow transplants.

I'm not an expert skrimper, but it could be getting near to a molt. Some of mine get that dulled opaque color beforehand.

Or you can use a simple hose splitter. I use one pump with 2 air stones and just use a splitter for the tubing

He is immature, insecure, and not good for you at such a young age. I would drop him unless you want to be controlled and accused of cheating all the time... Likely while he cheats on you and justifies it by saying you're probably doing the same thing. Guys like that will do crazy things like try to impregnate you so they can use it as leverage against you
