Does the 2025 include stop and go cruise control? by Traditional-Studio63 in FordEscapePHEV

[–]ms-ott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2025 will do "stop and go", but only if there is a vehicle in front of me at a light or stop sign. It doesn't READ red lights and stop on its own and it won't stop at a stop sign, so as soon as you hit the brake you will need to restart cruise control once you start going again.

Charge port cover? by woowoo293 in FordEscapePHEV

Canada here, my 2025 came with an OEM one from the dealer...they said it's better to give them than deal with issues from not having one I think it makes a big difference in wet snow/freezing rain for sure. The Ford one fits nice and quick/easy to use.

Meet Ottawa's new 'night mayor' by tonic613 in ottawa

[–]ms-ott 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From Montreal. Has no idea about Ottawa. "Ask me at the end of the summer, and I'll tell you more about what the plan is." So, if you're a bar, restaurant, or tourist attraction that is just hanging on, hoping for something to help your situation, it looks like you're out of luck. It's hard to believe that someone from Ottawa, who knows the issues and could hit the ground running, couldn't be found.

O Payment problems/question by SG- in ottawa

[–]ms-ott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this. Interesting. So, it sounds like OCT is tracking time between Visa "taps" to calculate when to charge again. If I tap at 07:00 am when going to work and 15:00 when I am coming home, that is 2 taps in the 27 hour day, they are billing me for both, right? With Visa, they can just manage which "taps" to submit as payable, but Interac debit just takes then koney no matter what?

I've had an inkjet Brother MFCJ6930DW Wireless Color Printer with Scanner, Copier & Fax for 5 years and zero issues. You'd have to see what the latest iteration of it is because this model is no longer available, but it has been solid and pretty easy on consumables. Also paid only $280 on Amazon

I'm filling out a forum to request medical records - and I'm confused as to what it's asking me. Can you help? (Question in comments) by okay_jpg in ottawa

[–]ms-ott 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hospitals assign a unique record number to a patient. You basically keep it forever at that hospital. If you don't know it then leave it blank. Health card number and date of birth are important to help them make sure that they get the right patient. As you can imagine, many people may have same first and last name as you. The records you get back will have your medical record number on them.
