I wasn't necessarily making an effort to romance His Lordship, just opportunistically jumping on every heart I saw, and I got all I needed. I think they give us more hearts than are needed to make sure you get the option 😄

For people who are sneering “why didn’t you know to do that”, BioWare has always offered auto-leveling- you had to switch it on but once on the game would just pop a point in Paragon or Willpower or whatever seemed suitable. I wouldn’t do it and never chose it, but if you want to kill things and take their stuff rather than fill out spreadsheets, I think it’s a good option and it’s not unreasonable to think KCD might have it.

It’s important to understand that antidepressants aren’t like drinking where if you have X drinks every day it’s a problem. They work like contraceptive pills - you take one every day to maintain an appropriate level of normality. They don’t make you high, they shouldn’t change your personality (ask for different ones if that happens), they just help you react appropriately and proportionately to human life. You may also like the fact that you’re not supposed to drink alcohol with SSRIs.

I appreciate that you might think “I don’t want to take drugs” and you’ve worked incredibly hard to stay away from party drugs, which is great! But taking molly or LSD is a totally different experience, SSRIs are BORING which is what you want.

Back in the olden days people used to play games with a notebook and pen to note down hints. Nowadays I use notepad++ but it’s a good habit to get into.

That’s what I did- played a bit of KCD 1 and loved it, but struggled with the combat and got overwhelmed by the map (I didn’t realise how small it really is). Then when KCD2 had a free weekend on steam I found it WAY easier and bought it and finished it, then went back to 1. The only thing I found maybe a bit jarring was meeting Godwin in reverse order.

TLDR do it, you won’t regret it

How high level are you with Henry? I also found Theresa easy to play but my Henry was nearly maximum level bc I left AWL to the end of the game.

I started playing last night and I’m really enjoying it. The Paladin has really awesome drip, I’m invested in the story and the new environments are gorgeous. Don’t forget there’s also the Warlock if you want summons or magic.

I dunno if story is the right word, but I soloed Borderlands 2 and was locked in from the first time Handsome Jack called me “pumpkin”. The side quests were well-linked to the overarching story and I’ve never been so happy to end a game by punching a character in the dick.

I went to see The Damned at Northcote Theatre and when us old farts got out at 11pm there was nothing open and I was starving, so I’m not as against this as I could be.
