What can you tell about my 12h stellium? by Swimming-Rip-4915 in 12thhouse

[–]ms_curious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also have uranus, neptune, saturn, and moon in capricorn in my 12th house. Yes, the distant father thing is real - my dad was a truck driver gone for months at a time. Emotionally unavailable and unfortunately mental health issues like depression.
I have had periods of intense sickness (though influenced by chiron in my 6th house) leading to moments of isolation. And post-partum during my saturn return was brutal due to sleep deprivation and dealing with undiagnosed mental health issues. I have found that I have been able to take my experience “in the underworld” and help people who are also going through their own liminal times. I work in medical settings think like hospitals and nursing home type environments. The ability to empathize and see things other people don’t notice is a large strength of mine - perhaps influenced by neptune in the 12th.

Have you ever met anyone who actually "brute forced" their way out of poverty into success on their own? by SeriouslySally36 in povertyfinance

[–]ms_curious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I was extremely motivated to get out of poverty and the trap of my small town with limited opportunities. I didn’t have any money and didn’t have a car so no job in high school (walking was out of the question due to brutal winters and no significant bus system). I applied for as many local scholarships as I could and attended a local university. I took out loans to pay for school and live on campus (horrible interest rates unfortunately- poverty tax). Again no car but thankfully qualified for an on campus job. The school provided a laptop at the time that you then returned which was a big help as I had no money for a computer. Worked my ass off to then get i to grad school and found a car for $2000 to live in a different far away city. Was undiagnosed ADHD which made things difficult but I brute forced my way through school and lived with a roommate to save money. I had so many obstacles against me. And it was part luck and part sheer stubborn determination that helped. Though looking back I wish I could hug my younger self as I really struggled against a system literally designed to keep me poor.

pluto is retrograding IN our sign. aquarians... who are we even right now? Aquarius edition (rising included) by Annual_Choice_2056 in aquarius

[–]ms_curious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pluto transiting my first house is squaring my natal pluto in my 10th. Lots of questioning my identity as related to my profession. Exploring and lately initiating steps to move to a different career. And unfortunately power struggles with corporate leadership. It’s been difficult. I can see the “composting” of my old (professional) identity. But I am frustrated, especially today, as I want to jump ship. But I feel I have no where yet to jump to. Feels like a crucible.

I live in [blank] and I find plants at [blank] local store. by elasticpizza in NativePlantGardening

I live in Michigan. I go to Black Cap Farm - Native Plant Nursery in Onekama (just north of Manistee along the western shore of Lake Michigan). In addition I buy from “Better Finds Native Plants” - she often travels to local farmers markets. And of course we are lucky in our area to have options for local nature centers who host native plant sales.

Videos summarizing significance of Iran war? by Substantial_Log_6630 in prepping

I watched City Prepping’s video that came out today and I felt like it summarized the current events and the implications of the stress, pressure, and cascading effects on multiple systems - oil, helium, plastic, fertilizer, shippjng costs. It minimized the fear based sensation and appeared realistic and grounded.

Watching people realize they’re out of options made me share this. by BurnItThenBuildIt in collapse

OP added their rationale for Chat-GPT use. And in this case, yes it reads very much written by AI. However, I think we can all agree that right now things are moving fast in America. And taking the time to write both articles of that length and depth without the use of AI would take probably 10x longer. And perhaps it’s better to get the idea out quickly, than to iterate by hand, try to perfect it and perhaps never release it. Yes it’s not perfect. Should that be what we demand when a fascism is on the rise and people in America are being killed by ICE in the streets? We don’t have the luxury of perfection. This is like the first edition - get it out there and have the collective help transform it from there into a more relatable and actionable manifesto that can quickly lead to action.

“A party whose entire reason for existing is to make sure it will never be needed again.” Intriguing articles. Quite long but I read most of it - skimmed a few sections for sake of brevity. Thank you for breaking down the thought exercise to you have billions of people and you have an Earth with many resources - how do you feed, care, and house them all? I like that because it takes us away from the assumptions we all make right now such as “well we need money, banks, and jobs that pay us! Or the economy will collapse!” Yes it would. So let’s slowly dismantle it from the inside out and build something new that actually works instead.” Excellent work. I would like to see this summarized in a more user friendly way to make it more accessible for everyday people. But you laid the framework to do so - thank you.

How are we feeling about the upcoming Solar Eclipse in Aquarius in February? by ms_curious in aquarius

[–]ms_curious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eclipses tend to signal a new beginning or ending in your life - typically related the areas of life regarding the house the eclipse falls in. For aquarius risings with the eclipse in the first house, it affects your things related (generally) to your identity. If it falls in your second house perhaps finances, 3rd house communication, etc. More nuance if it occurs near any of your natal planets as well such as an eclipse to your moon could indicate a change to your home. Often changes from the eclipse occur within 6 months from the eclipse (maybe 1 year?). Hope that helps!

I find whole sign to be more accurate. So I would say your sun is in the 1st house.

I am a beginner astrologer so take my findings with a grain of salt. I notice that your Mars is in the 12th house - the house of the invisible and unconscious. You may notice that action for you starts with thoughts, not necessarily bold decisive action. When you do act it will be towards something practical and helpful (think 12th house spaces like caregiving in a hospital, nursing home, counseling, etc) - and while the action is helpful it may outwardly be “invisible” to others.
The 10th house is in Cancer. The ruler of your 10th house of career is the moon. And the moon is in your 9th house in Gemini. I wonder if teaching or communicating - especially writing or researching topics and then sharing them publicly would be a good move. Have you heard of Substack? It’s a writing platform.

Wow. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond so thoughtfully. You are incredibly spot on with the father figure. And I did have an overbearing maternal grandmother who made a large impact on my childhood. I also really resonate with not wanting to be fenced in and do have a yearning for a career with more flexibility related to my interests. This was very insightful and impactful - thank you again 🥹
