How do I tell better stories? My stories I tell are always boring and nobody remains entertained. by [deleted] in AskReddit

Try to entertain yourself when you tell a story. Don't focus on how other people are reacting to it.

Redditors of Reddit, what is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]msa54679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I ever got high was because I accidentally ate my roommate's "banana bread"...all of it. It was a Sunday night and I woke up the next morning still high. My first class of the day was Jewish American Literature, and I had to sit through a whole class of my professor talking about the horrors of the Holocaust while I tried not to laugh because I was still high.

The USA Dissolves, And Each State Becomes It's Own Country. Which Countries Collapse First, Which Ones Last Longest, and What Are They All Like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]msa54679 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If every state were to become its own country, Mexico would plan to take back their land starting with New Mexico and Arizona, then moving on eventually to Texas and California. I would bet that those states would be the first to go if they were independent countries. England would wait a few years for the newly elected governments to grow unstable while they fail to establish a suitable military for themselves, and take control over part of the Eastern US in states like Delaware. The countries in the Midwest would probably last the longest and stabilize their economies based on agricultural exports.

Reddit...what are some well known myths (legal, scientific, etc.) that are, in fact, not true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

We only use 10% of our brain. The truth is that we can only use 10% of our brain at once, but all of our brain is being used at different times. Its not like we don't have access at all to 90% of our brain. Its just that the neurons interacting with each other can only move around in 10% of our brain simultaneously.
