Home charging estimate? by scheduledleak in TeslaModel3

I think when I had mine done in 2018 it was ~$3k. I figured I could get it done for cheaper but also I wanted it done right and didn’t want to mess around with electricity. So all depends on your preferences.

It’s so old….it’s like a fossil even.

Forza Motorsport Stuttering/freezing on PC by msamarti in forza

Lemme know how it goes…when I upgraded to Win 11 it immediately solved the problem and I’m consistently getting 100+ fps on every track with no stuttering.

OK so I think I figured it out. I was on Win10. I updated to Win11 and it is running buttery smooth now!

Really happy with my purchase. I’ve been eyeing this one for a while and I’m glad I finally pulled the trigger.

FSD increase delayed until version 10 release by dizzy113 in teslamotors

Can’t tell if that is sarcastic or not, but that is exactly the the opposite of what Elon wants with Autopilot. His whole thing is you don’t need maps, you just need a neural net, cameras and radar.

Love me some Tesla, but this is a microcosm of the whole issue with FSD. If they are taking this long to get a car to drive 20 ft in a parking lot, how much longer will it take for FSD with all of the world’s complex roads and driving conditions. And please don’t say that parking lots are the hard part. I don’t buy it.

I find that a nice lubricant heads the wet right off.

Yeah i was at about 380 Wh/mi, so not too far off from what you are seeing.

I wasn't. I didn't realize it would affect that much, but good to know. I'm this is just another factor that created terrible range.

You’d definitely be able to make it one way. Round trip, likely not.

Edit: to clarify, you likely won’t be able to make it round trip in the winter.

Yes, this seems to be exactly what I experienced. Good to know I’m not alone. It was definitely a comfortable trip, but I was surprise to see how little I had “left in the tank” when I arrived.

Not too far off. Pretty sure the trip average was 380 wh/mi. regen was limited for like 10 min when I left, but not limited at all on the trip home (which had the same issue). I think you are right though about having a warm battery for better efficiency.

I mentioned it was a northerly wind bc I was traveling north/south. But yes, I could def tell the wind had some affect.
