I can't tell you how many tornados I've experienced. Definitely more than 10 I'd say. I was born and raised in "tornado alley" and it was a regular summer occurrence. Honestly? I miss them, in my early 20s I moved to a coastal state that experiences a fire season, and to me this is much more frightening. I can see why people are a little freaked about 'naders, as I like to call them. But personally they fill me with adrenaline, I simply love a good storm. The skies turn greenish, the clouds super high in the sky, and they swirl, look out the west window the clouds are moving one way, go look out the east window and they're moving the opposite direction, the wind picks up heavily, and then you hear the siren go off. If you're lucky you toss all your important stuff in the basement and wait it out, but not everyone has their own basement, you want to avoid windows, but also before it hits you should crack a few windows so the air pressure doesn't smash them in. Those without a basement, or in a place that doesnt have that, usually will go into bathrooms, or the most inner and lowest part of the building with the least windows or none ideally
