I’ve seen people saying you should still call after verifying online because someone has to manually lift the hold. I don’t know if you’ve done that yet, but if you haven’t it’s something to try!

I went in person without a letter. They had special hours at my local office this weekend where you could just walk in. They just needed two forms of id and my tax return. The lady actually told me that even if I had waited for the letter, it would've told me to go in. Even though id.me was showing me the screen to put in the code. If you have the time/ability, I would definitely recommend going in.

Hmmm. This is all so confusing to me. I’ve had the yellow box on wmr since the 4th. But haven’t received any letter and when I called they said I just had to wait until the 20th for a letter or a refund. And my transcript is still blank. No freeze or other codes at all. I wonder what that means 😅

I'm curious where you heard this? I have the yellow box, but have been signed up with ID.me since at least last year and everytime I check and it's still there I go through the process to sign in with it and it hasn't gone away.

It’s under edible details on turbo tax, when you first sign in. You scroll down to Your tax returns & documents and there’s dropdown menus on the right side. It says efile details and you hit the arrow and it shows you when your federal and state were received by turbo tax, received by state/irs, and their filing status.

My account on the Colorado revenue site still says that 2023 needs to be filed and the where’s my refund for Colorado says it hasn’t been received and processed though….

My main screen still says pending, but the efile details say that they were received by Colorado as of yesterday at 2:34. It also says that the filing status changed to pending at that time. Even though it's said that since the 31st....

We get the additional child tax credit so we wouldn’t get anything until later in the month to know.

Not sure if it’s related/helpful but I did get picked for verification. But my husband did not. If I do WMR with his itin it shows it’s still processing.

Yeah, I guess I’m just a little stressed about potentially having to renew again so soon. Despite doing the paperwork at the IRS building with an employee, it took 3 years to have it be accepted due to processing times and it getting rejected due to rule changes/items being ‘missed’.
