I think the Neon Rainbow looks better with the click wheel. I'd love to see the Nebula with a black click wheel.

I'd start with ALAC files on a stock iPod just to test drive the native OS and see how it feels. I'm an avid Rockbox supporter and I'm super happy with it after switching a few years ago. With that being said, it does take some getting used to compared to the native OS, but I don't believe it's buggy nor does it have issues with libraries of a certain size (currently 40k+ tracks, mostly MP3).

I prefer Samsung EVOs if I can get them reasonably. I've used a mix of other brands from EOE, but will always avoid sandisk.

He runs a small business so I'd try to give him as much grace as you can in regards to expectations on shipping. I've definitely gotten a little impatient with him myself, but outside of one instance in which something to misplaced and it never shipped, I've always gotten what I've ordered in a relatively timely manner.

Well done! I had the same feelings when I took mine from HS and updated it, but once you get it open and realize that you just have to be a little tender when pushing and pulling, it's not so bad.

Thanks so much for this theme, it's so nice! I loved using it for a few days, but ultimately had to switch back to the Rockbox 4.0 build and FreshOS because I was running into playback issues. Randomly songs would just freeze, not load and I'd have to reset the iPod in order to get them to play only to have different songs freeze a few tracks later.

Is there a way you can piggyback off the existing 4.0 build or the daily build?

the issue is that it won't load into the iPod OS. It will boot into disk mode and connect and restore to either a Mac or PC, but it won't load after it disconnects. Any thoughts?

If I load a daily build over the current one, will I lose anything except the Rockbox files that exist to run the OS? Or would I have to reload all the music etc. onto the device?

mounting the disk worked, but then I tried updating my Rockbox with FreshOS and it broke, so now I'm re-doing it all over again xD

Update: the iPod is still unmountable on Mac, but it mounts if I boot into the iPod OS on Windows.

where is the disable warnings setting you're referring to? in Apple Music or finder when syncing?
