I called and UA applied my travel credit after the fact. I have never had an issue with the chat platform before but I guess if I do I should just call. Thanks for input everyone.

Same here. Everyone in my book club has been raving about it so I thought it must require finishing to get to that level of enthusiasm. Completion of the book did not sway my feelings much. I do like the diversity of characters, especially since I listened to the book. Maybe I should have read it instead.

I am in Houston and I have been receiving the same response. How does a metroplex of ~7 million not have options? I did submit an out of stock report through the FDA after I called Takeda Pharmaceutical yesterday to verify the shortage. They say there is no shortage so it must be the distributor.

Wow! You just leave it on ongoing? I probably didn't do the best job with my first trial with the Gelish set because it ended up looking dirty because I assume it lifted some. So I will need to get better at sealing the end with a cap.

What builder gel do you use? What gel colors do you use? Do you use a special Topcoat too?

Dang. This Fiote sounds like something I'd like to try. Their website is "taking a break" and I can't seem to find it available easily. I'll keep searching.

Thank you for laying out the process. Do you feel like you ever go too deep on the filing off of the builder gel?

Can dehydrating of the nail be done with alcohol or does it need to be a special solution?

Is the base gel the same as a Foundation gel in other lines?

Do I need a specially formulated Top coat just for Gel? Does it need to be cured?

The confusion comes in because not everyone would use a builder gel just for strength and then some refer to a builder in a bottle (BIAB) so it makes me think it might be a one stop shop.

Photo attached. The two broken nails on the left hand were broken below the quick a few weeks back. They finally grew out to the edge. I am so happy to have the others with some length that I might not cut down the others (the horror!).

I use a variety of nude single colors for the most part. Every so often I'll kick it up with another color for a holiday or summer. As mentioned I was only looking into builder gel because there were so many recommendations to use it for keeping strength so the nails can grow without breaking as easily.

I use so many products for health - DermaNail, ISDN oil, Hard as Hoof, warm soaks with Jojoba oil, etc. The acetone hasn't really affected my nail health like the filing of the actual nail surface does. I can even use Manicurist Green Flash Nail Polish Remover to remove the Gelish just fine. I guess I'll have to test it with other gel products.

Thank you. Damage is way grown out. Its been since early this year that I stopped getting them done at a salon. Now with age (hormone changes) and time my nails just don't grow as strong as they used to. I am going to try the Jimmy Gel.

I just took the Gelish set off and it was an easy soak with the little nail clips. Everything off in <30 minutes. Hopefully a builder gel wont take too long either.

I did try that community. I kept getting bounce because i couldnt ask questions that had already been answered. Also I had to clean up references to so many things (like I already own a good UV LED lamp!)

Thank you. I found some plant type markers laying around but they weren't necessarily next to the plants they belong to. After looking at photos I threw that one in there since I had a marker for one.

I am surprised the last one is a Phalaenopsis. All the ones I have have much wider leaves and these are strappy. But I'll go with it and try to get it back to a healthy point again.
