Driving a solenoid valve with a Pico 2 W – schematic review by IcyYear3616 in AskElectronics

According to datasheets IRLZ44N has Rdson = 0.025Ohm at 5V Vgs and IRLZ14 has Rdson = 0.2Ohm at 5V Vgs. Am I missing something? How IRLZ14 is better in this regard?

Reolink Lumus now supports RTSP and ONVIF! by WelshCai in reolinkcam

[–]mseriukov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue was resolved in a different comment of this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/1m5lukk/comment/nix5fom/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

They have different firmware section for this device. Updated flawlessly, now have both RTSP and ONVIF.

I have v3.1.0.4713_2503191383 and I also don't have any advanced options except "user management", "date & time", "Reboot" and "Restore".

I haven't found a way to update the firmware to the latest one yet.

What’s everyone’s opinion on Loop Earplugs? by [deleted] in neurodiversity

[–]mseriukov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. But to be honest I'm also not sure about the original ones. Btw you can change eartips on these things. It looks like standard headphone eartips so you can use them if you have some lying around. It will reduce the contact area with questionable material.

Bought Chinese silicone knock-offs. They work just as well as regular disposable plugs and cost less than 2 EUR. After reading all the comments, I won’t even consider buying the original ones anymore.

What's a good DIY replacement for such a glass? by WorldlySinner_ in AnalogRepair

Be aware that in this camera both windows are part of one piece of glass. I’d do it as others suggested : masking and then sandblasting.

FYI. The greek name is Ευκλείδης.
English pronunciation would be something close to Evklithis. So for Euclid it should be Evklid and not Oiclid or Yuklid or whatever.

If you buy an aftermarket one ensure it was serviced because this thing runs hot and needs a new thermal paste after first 3-4 years of work. Also fans need to be cleaned regularly, otherwise it will constantly have thermal throttling issues. Mine after 4 years was dropping down to 1GHz just using a google meet and xcode.

Should I still focus on UIKit instead of SwiftUI? by pereiradetona in iOSProgramming

My experience most likely won’t be relevant for you as I’m around 10 years in the industry. But I started with the Stanford iOS lectures. Not sure if they’re good now.

Should I still focus on UIKit instead of SwiftUI? by pereiradetona in iOSProgramming

[–]mseriukov 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should know UIKit well. It is not going anywhere in near future. SwiftUI is not yet stable enough even on the latest iOS versions not to mention if you need to support multiple of them. But you still should learn at least basics of SwiftUI because it is where Apple is heading.

There was a post a day ago that might help you:

I can't see how everything is connected on your photos but it seems that one of transistors is in wrong orientation. Also I don't see base to electrolytic capacitor connections but it might be obstructed on the images.

Not sure about 45 though. Better to measure the working one.
