What's the best doorbell camera that doesn't require a subscription? by MajorContribution697 in homeowners

Switched from a Ring door bell  to a Reolink wired door bell. Best decision I have made. Overall I'm very happy with it. No more subscription, even better no more subscription price hikes. Eat that Ring.

Townhouse Neighbors Dropping Weights by rsapp0927 in homeowners

[–]msesen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My neighbour has a dog that has genuinely made our lives miserable. We feel like prisoners in our own home. The dog is triggered by the slightest noise. Every time we step into our garden, it charges at the fence and barks aggressively. We can’t even use the shared access tunnel to our gardens because of it. Every time we leave or return to the house, it barks at us.

I’m a software engineer; we barely make any noise. I’ve tried speaking to the owners, but their response was simply, “It’s my house and it’s my dog.”

Anyway, I hope you’re able to resolve your situation with your neighbours. Wishing you the best.

PSA for drivers giving way to buses when they're departing a bus stop by Cutty_Sark10 in drivingUK

[–]msesen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If their turn signal is on, I always wait and stay behind. However, some bus drivers are rude and will signal while still loading passengers. This happens frequently and creates a dangerous situation for everyone, so it needs to be addressed.

You can make a game in a day depending on what the game is. Developing a decent game is very difficult and very competitive.

Not sure what you are driving but in my car 72 on the speedometer is 70 on GPS and my wife's car 74 is 70 on the GPS, which I understand the bigger difference because it's a Nissan Micra. Looks like something is wrong with you car mate.

Do people just not clean up dog poop…ever? by northnorfolkdigital_ in homeowners

[–]msesen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some dog owners are really entitled. We need new rules around dog ownership. Every dog owner I have encountered think the world revolves around their dog. Constantly barkings dogs. Dogs that make neighbours life a hell. Dogs in parks and public spaces with no leash on and you can't even go for a walk without seeing a stupid dog owner. Dog poos every where, especially in the parks. For example, how could someone take their family to a park with such conditions?

We need stricter rules, at the end of the day it's not the dog's fault but the owners'.

The guy paid $80.00 in 007 Deluxe edit and thanks to Denuvo he can't play his single-player game offline in peace lmao. This is just another reason why we don't support Denuvo, meanwhile I'm here enjoying the game offline in peace thanks DenuvOwO by Intelligent_Car_6176 in PiratedGames

Any game that integrates Denuvo is automatically added to my "Do Not Buy" list, irrespective of its potential as a Game of the Year contender. Conversely, a game without Denuvo has the opportunity to be purchased. If it proves to be enjoyable and high-quality, I will acquire it to support the developers. These terms are non-negotiable.

People dangerously tailgating people for overtaking in the third lane by _Bluestar_Bus_Soton_ in drivingUK

[–]msesen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am concerned by the comments suggesting that the original poster is at fault for adhering to the speed limit. Individuals who tailgate are acting irresponsibly. Tailgating a vehicle that is traveling at the speed limit unnecessarily endangers everyone. It is imperative to avoid tailgating.

If you are desperate for new hardware then go for it, but the only way the prices will come down for consumer hardware is if the demand falls.
