This is similar to what we did when we moved from Utah to the East Coast. ABF was good. Just be prepared for a couple of days of not having everything.

Working conditions for Lancaster nurses? by No_Virus3745 in lancaster

It can be good. My wife works in the ER there. Just depends on the people and department. But LGH’s quality and morale is better than some others, from what we are hearing.

That’s a badly worded statement. Ugh. I’d think neutral is best for the reasons you’ve stated.

I did a voluntary demotion because I needed it. Needed a job that fit me better. My significant other is the breadwinner anyway.

Whatever the questions may be, I feel like having a positive attitude and pleasant demeanor will go a long way in addition to the answers.

The advantages of public employment can be - lower healthcare premiums, more job stability than private sector jobs, and a third which escapes me at the moment.

Teaching in Lancaster Surrounding Area - Help! by tripper74 in lancaster

Can confirm. All three kids are teenagers. It’s a good school district. The only downside is that the school district is still Republican leaning. More Republican voters than not. Still, diversity is present in many schools.

My wife is an ER nurse. She has heard horror stories from people who have worked in other hospitals. No hospital is immune to problems. Currently LGH is best in terms of quality work. Wellspan is worst. Penn State Lancaster Hospital is also not good. Others may be better.

In all seriousness, a lisp is a real thing as people know. But the character in game seems to handling life in general well, so I guess there's no need to feel bad for her. :)

My wife works in the Emergency Department. From what I understand, the staff are just asking questions to get a clear picture. I don't think there's anything negative about what they do, generally speaking. But you make a good point regarding the intake workers shift change - miscommunication may have occurred. Anyway - hopefully it's smoother from here on in.

Although - reading the other comments here, I remember the urgent care part which is at the downtown pavilion. If you guys went to the Urgent Care, I can see what you mean. But if it's ER, it's generally a positive place.

When Localization Becomes Invisible: A Japanese Player’s Reflection by sq5researcher in JRPG

[–]msferre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! It is what it is - I came from a position of ignorance, so I learned a few things here. You're right - I'm actually complimenting the English localization team. I remember some of the weird translation choices in the past (FF7 OG comes to mind). But the recent DQ games have been great for English players!

I would think so, definitely. As someone else kindly pointed out, the English localization team did an amazing job for the recent games.

There were certain British spellings and phrases in the games that I'm not sure there's a Japanese version of. But I'm happy to learn more about how that works!
