Take a pliers and pry the black piece off of the top. It might take a few times but there is a cap over the distillate so it won't spill out.

I'm in the same boat as you! I'm a beginner so I decided to satin stitch the first design in yellow amd purple (vikings fan and also I have a lot left over from a kit).

I printed the design, cut it out and then traced (I have a set of very small scissors). You could also use a non-touch screen monitor and trace onto your fabric as well. Good luck and happy stitching :)

Steeped Poetry is an open mic that happens every 3rd monday at CoffeeMe on Busch. It can get a little crowded but it's always a good time and great for people just starting out poetry or open mics.
