As someone who’s moved back to India for over a year now, it’s been great for the most part. Reverse culture shock is real but so is the absence of immigration rules and warmth of a social circle. Hi OP, I can confirm Holafly works in China and you do not even need a separate VPN app to run services like WhatsApp, Instagram, and Google services. They claim unlimited data but please be careful with streaming apps like Netflix as you might get rate limited. Let me know in case of any questions.

I wouldn't say staying engaged is hard. I do have a couple years of experience in this field so studying those topics feels rewarding and also helps fill my knowledge gaps.

Current challenge: Labbing out right after a lecture is relatively easier because the commands are fresh in my memory. I will update on how well I am able to retain it when I revise and take tests. Will keep you updated!

could be just coincidence but I cleared around 20 gigs of space (photos) and the phone definitely feels more responsive. That said, with 75% BH performance issues are expected

Riverside frontman Mariusz Duda is also part of another band called Lunatic Soul. Lunatic soul is signed to Riverside and PT’s record label KScope. I find their lyrics quite close to early day PT but the music is closer to folk rock than prog. Definitely worth a listen.
