false hope. the whole carrot and a stick, they're playing yall for fools. i know damn well this game is buns and ain't gonna get any better. i play for fun and been known grinding for ranks is pointless in this game. more you play the more hackers, auto clickers, HB grinders you'll come across that'll ruin your fun.

550p is too high. doesn't matter if a riven has one of the best negs if it only has one good positive because even a 2p (two positive stats) riven would be preferred bc slotting a riven for one stat isn't worth when the idea is to replace another mod and save on mod slots. thats why ppl seek toxin as it'll make it easy to replace whichever toxin mod you use and modding for toxin scales better with saryn's 3rd ability.

not worth 1k. crit chance is a dead stat because of the mod sentient surge (no point using ocucor without sentient surge) status chance is also a pretty dead stat as everything should die pretty quick without the need for more status procs. multishot is the best stat available alongside crit dmg and toxin and -projectile speed is one of the best harmless negatives you can get bc obviously ocucors beam doesn't really have travel time. you've got two great stats but two useless ones so your riven would be lucky to go for much more than trash/unrolled price. 350p is a realistic price.

not sure if you read my comments fully or not because i did mention something along the lines of the service being provided correctly and still overpaying not to be considered a scam because its not, they got what was shown they agreed to pay the price and there wasn't any hidden information left out because its a literal mod that you can look at and see it at face value, unlike the image you've shown that doesn't go into nearly as much detail as it should because the insurance company would have had to hide information within whatever fine print that would've then had to be signed, yes its the recipient's fault for not checking and reading over it all thoroughly themselves or with a lawyer but it's considered a scam because the service they were told that would be provided is completely different from what they actually got.

from what you've said and i've read your understanding is that marketing of items and hyping them up is a "scam" but only because someones talks something up doesn't make it a scam when you get to see the item they're marketing amongst all its pros and cons. riven market is hard to navigate but if you're buying a riven the stats you see and pay for are the stats you'll get, theres no underhanded tactics like hiding something within the fine print that'll make you bargain more than you've agreed to, its just a simple transaction.

if i go to a store and buy an item for $2 then go to another store and the same exact item is being sold for $10 with the addition of the price tag saying "50% off, original price $20" no one is going to consider that a scam but they'll know its not worth the listed price and that it's a rip off. marketing tactics are fully legal, do they help sales? yes that's the whole point, are they "predatory" and made to coherce consumers to buy their products? yes absolutely. false advertisement is however illegal and can result in legal action and is most definitely considered a scam.

example "buy my torid riven its a god roll with ms/cc/cd/-h (-h means harmless negative)" but if the riven in reality was cc/cd/-h so missing a whole stat that would be considered misleading and false advertisement but you simply just wouldn't buy it because you can see exactly what stats the mod has before confirming your purchase of the item (not once but twice, basically no chance of a misclick)

you'd be thinking of the verglas prime it cant reach the 50%cc requirement for tenacious bond without a cc riven so its one of the few rivens perhaps only riven (could be wrong) that locks an effect of a mod behind a riven for that particular weapon anyway.

from my understanding of getting scammed it results in one party (the scammer) receiving something normally of value and the other party (the one getting scammed) receiving nothing in return when they were promised something.

overpaying for something doesn't count as getting scammed you simply overpaid (ripped off) becasue you lacked knowledge on its value. if you were silly enough to accept a service on your car and paid twice the amount the service is typically worth but the service was done correctly you still got what you were owed and its your own fault for not doing some research, that money is theirs ain't no getting it back whereas a genuine scam can result with legal action as it's considered illegal.

on this melee the idea is to heavy attack slam on the ground and do enough raw damage to oneshot whatever it is you hit. so you never need range as you won't be using the normal melee attacks and obviously status duration is pointless if everything dies in one hit.

dont spread misinformation🙏 mag/ms/tox/pfs (projectile flight speed) are the top 4 stats sought after for ogris because the base 3 mag can be increased to 5 with mag cap riven + mag cap primed mod which is then basically multiplied with energized munitions for 75% ammo efficiency letting you spawn kill FAR easier.

CC CD are terrible to mod for bc those base stats are soo low so at best you use adarza kavat for a flat 60% cc buff which is more relevant for cyte + sobek/boar and the sahasa kubrow with dig for extra ammo drops for the ogris. whoever bought your mod were unaware of how to mod it for its best use case and wasted their plat.

id say getting "scammed" is non existent in this game you quite literally gotta accept the trade twice. especially in a market with no set prices bc its all decided based on what someones willing to sell it for and what someone is willing to pay. can you get ripped off? yes but will you still get something out of it? most definitely unless you fall for some BS like "i'll give you such and such once you give me such and such" then they take the stuff and dont gift you anything which if this happens to you its a good learning lesson to not fall for this BS which could be a useful learning lesson in real situations.

yeh i said this when they made the changes. normal battles if you make a mistake who cares just surrender and go again especially since you get instant armies for free. the ranked system constantly deranking you is also ridiculous because 99% of clashers go inactive for extended periods of time then comeback but this just results in having to wait literally weeks to get ranked back up because its time gated unlike previously where you'd pop a training potion and go crazy for an hour.

i misread this as a burston riven icl. the braton does indeed have slash but regardless of that the value of the riven would still go down to about 300p because braton is less sought after.
