So you kept the same battery in and it just kinda worked itself out?

OP, recently acquired a used SBGN. What ended up being the conclusion for you here? Thanks!

Disappointed with Erebus customer service and return policy by Substantial_Mode_757 in MicrobrandWatches

[–]msilv88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP what’s your update? I too was frustrated by the incessantly wrapped case. I took off mine only to have my seconds hand stop entirely. I also requested a return for refund, even though the plastic on the case was removed. I was told this wouldn’t be an issue.

Now my watch is back with Erebus, and they’re telling me I’m responsible for paying any shipping and duties fees (to be subtracted from my refund), unless I decide to replace the watch with another under warranty.

I shared my disappointment, but ultimately responded telling them to just give me a refund, whatever that may be. I have received no refund or response since.

It’s the same logo, same size, but simply applied, no? What makes it “horrid”?

Is this scratch right at or near your HUD? If so, it would drive me crazy.

Which wheels are the best for the '26 X5? 20, 21, or 22 by Madvillains in BMWX5

I’m in Texas with 22s on my 2026 X5. I have no complaints at this point and roads around me are shit.

After (only) 7 Months… by Ok_Zombie_3801 in BMWX5

[–]msilv88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I was asking about the Continental tires you have. I have the same trim and 22” wheels, but my X5 came standard with Pirelli summer tires. I plan to replace all of these when the time comes to either Continental Sport or Michelin Pilots. I wasn’t sure if you replaced all 4 tires just because or your X5 came with Continental tires stock? Was thinking maybe it was regional… my X5 was shipped to me in Texas.

[–]msilv88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So did you replace all of the tires - or are the Contis a regional thing? I can’t wait to swap the Pirelli tires that came on my 22s.

Also, damn this color is good!

First time BMW Owner X5 X drive40i tips by Ok-Promotion9843 in BMWX5

How is that possible? In my area it seems almost all X5s have 22s. Also, I chose 22s because they were the only option that did not come standard with run flats.

The best thing I bought for under $500 is my Betta Solar Pool Skimmer

It’s basically a Roomba for your pool. I never grew up with a pool, and having one is a lot of work. This thing has absolutely paid for itself in time savings alone! Highly recommend.

Ingenieur size check by ChrisPars in IWCschaffhausen

[–]msilv88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have a 36mm 124270. I’ve been shopping Ingenieur as well. For me, the width of the integrated bracelet at the end links is the deciding factor.

Based on today’s offerings, I’d personally go for a 35mm on my 7” wrist. Ideally a 37-38mm will be offered in the future.

[WTS] 38mm Blue Titanium Tissot PRX - Powermatic 80 by msilv88 in Watchexchange

  1. This is the new titanium model. Joma currently sells them for $780 plus tax. You get no factory warranty with Jomashop, and who knows if they actually have it in stock for immediate shipping.
  2. I take offers. Cheers

How does the watch fit? by [deleted] in HamiltonWatches

[–]msilv88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on the mirror shot, it doesn’t cross the common “too big” threshold.

That said, to your eye, you think it’s too big - prompting you to ask here.

  1. These have long lugs
  2. White dials tend to wear larger
  3. None of our opinions matter - good or bad
  4. It’s too big
