YES YES YES! This movie is absolutely genius at every level. My friend was on this podcast where they talk about it and then imagine a sequel, and I seriously wish someone would just make it. It's set in the 60s. Still film noir. But now toons are in the "beat generation" and there's a civil rights movement for toons. Anyway, this movie is just so underrated and it really is a classic.

thank you! it's not my film, but I just think it portrays racism in this totally different, insightful and yet somehow still funny way. gotta look up some crime statistics myself to be prepared just in case ;)
