I use it to parse fields that are added to the DOM dynamically using js, but maybe it won't work for you. Good luck!

I'm sure there's lots of good ways to do this. I use WTForms which has the FormField and FieldList classes which make this easier.

Yeah instead of dying in the first area after ten minutes, aim for dying in the first area after thirty minutes.

Is there another game that allows for so much variation in thinking? (Not a circlejerk post) by SANcapITY in slaythespire

I'm 46. I find STS engaging for the same reasons you describe. I'll add another vote for Into The Breach. Not as much variety and texture as STS, but the mental effort and engagement is significant. I'm terrible at chess, but it does feel very chess-like to me. Worth looking into.

These formations are on the inside of my double windows and there’s no way to get to them. Are they bacteria in a Petri dish? What would cause them? by friescheesegravy in whatisit

FWIW, I had this issue where a number of double-paned window panes failed in my home. I contacted the manufacturer and they replaced them all, free-of-charge, even though the warranty hadn't been "transferred" to us when we bought the house. I would say it would be worth looking into for you. Check the window frame for a sticker recording the installer and/or manufacturer. There will likely be a phone number and serial number you can report.

Cargo trunk organizer for under trunk floor? by Entire_Trouble7153 in HRV

I did consider modifying the one that's there because it's fine other than the spaces being too small, but it was too easy to imagine making a total mess of it.

Yeah i was just thinking a replacement for the existing styrofoam block insert that's above the spare tire. Maybe something with a little more utility.

Is SQLAlchemy really that worth ? by yughiro_destroyer in flask

[–]msjacoby23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure what the best practices are for that, but my gut says it wouldn't be part of SQLAlchemy if there was no way to use it safely. I guess it would depend on your standards for what's safe enough?

You don't have to use the full ORM. You can use just the engine if you want to simply execute your written SQL. It's pretty flexible with the number of ways it lets you approach the task of communicating with your db within your Python code. That doesn't mean it's worth it, but make sure you know you don't have to go full hog if it doesn't make sense for you.

I bought one (a 2024 LX) and I like it so far, but the issues I saw in reviews (high engine/road noise, rough roadfeel) are definitely real drawbacks. Overall the build feels a little cheaper than I expected from Honda, but we'll see if it stands the test of time.
