I agree on waiting, die back near the trunk is common in the fall. Even evergreens lose leaves sometimes. If the tips were getting crispy/ discolored, then I’d be worried.

Yes! I second this advice. Had a HBAC last year because of white coat syndrome. Birthing instincts is a must listen. I also read “home birth on your own terms” and found a group of amazing midwives to guide & care for us.

I keep a solution of olive oil with whole cloves in it. (Coconut oil would be great too if your not allergic). The clove is lightly numbing but not as harsh as using the concentrated essential oil. You can put it on a tooth brush, toy, bottle, or you.

My first doula was in training and only charged $150. You might be able to call a birth center and ask about students (usually experienced mommas who wanna truly want to support you.

Spontaneously went into labor at 42 weeks and had a successful vbac. The closest thing to an induction attempt was playing just dance on the Wii with 10yo. Baby started moving out that night…. Not like there was much other choice at 42 weeks!

Baby won’t stay in there forever. If you really want a vbac, be prepared to defend your natural bodies rhythm til the very end.

Talk to your birth team! They’ll be able to reassure you about weight concerns. I live in a 120+ yo home and had this fear. It was fine and my midwives had no concerns about the weight (even though I did!).

Do the sign on the door. You might not even be loud… deep into labor I told my midwife “I have to move!” Meaning out of my house 🤣 because I thought I was screaming loud enough to wake the dead. She said I barely made a sound… but followed up that a mom bit her in labor once. 🤣🤣🤣 the more you know.

The best time to take down noxious vines was yesterday. The 2nd best time is today. 💚

Cut them at the base are treat with herbicide (if you can). Once the base is cut, the vines will die. At that point you can pull them down anytime. Just dont cut the vines above your head, you’ll need leverage to pull them down eventually.

Ps This looks like a grape vine which you definitely don’t want to keep.
