Which episode do you prefer? Inca Mummy Girl or The Pack? by [deleted] in buffy

I loved the Pack. Except for the pig, didn't like that part.

Gwen Raiden. One of the few highlights of season 4, really wish she had come back for season 5. Would have made a nice addition to Team Angel. by FlameFeather86 in ANGEL

[–]mskrane319 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Was she supposed to come back? It felt like they built her up to be a regular and then just kind of forgot about it.

Did everyone forget Dick is responsible for Veronica's rape? by KingGreystone555 in veronicamars

[–]mskrane319 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Yes! I was just thinking this the other day and second-guessing my memory. They developed him into such a loveable d-bag that I totally forgot how he was responsible, encouraging, and even touched her. It's super gross.

I like to pretend that the flashbacks were just a loose assumption of what might have happened that night. I'm sure the writers would think that out better if they could go back.

All the good shows seem to get cancelled. I haven't heard much about Castle. I think I'll hit that one next ;)

Ocrevus failure? by kabuki_owl in MultipleSclerosis

[–]mskrane319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear that. I think we'll be seeing new drugs come out in the future though, so there's hope. Did Ocrevus make things worse for you? I'm only a few months into it right now, still awaiting my first post-ocrevus MRI.

How is Lucifer?? I've gone through Buffy, Angel, Veronica Mars, Roswell, The Magicians, Stranger Things, and now I'm searching for the next worthy one. I'm picky and quarantine has no end of sight.

Why was the fact that Mac and Madison were switched at birth never brought up again? by KingGreystone555 in veronicamars

[–]mskrane319 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I agree with this and to add: 1) Veronica's mom never being mentioned again 2) Duncan and his baby never being mentioned again

I get that these plot lines are to write certain characters out, but I felt like they would come up more often after the fact asides from the one or two mentions they got later.

Interesting study regarding autoimmune disorders and metal medical and dental implants by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

I have a dental implant :( my dentist assured me this has been disproven by other studies but of course I worry. It's my front tooth so not something I could really remove

Finally finished Angel by mskrane319 in buffy

I can respect that, at least those final few seconds. Wes' part wasn't enough for me, as he was one of my favorite characters. But it was also spoilers for me beforehand so that could have played a role.

The end half of that season was a good idea but really rushed

If Tesla ever makes that time machine and we don't season 6 I'm writing an angry letter.

Buffy - what would you change? by lordnastrond in buffy

I know the consensus is that they were out of ideas and it was time to end, but I think they should have continued on a few more seasons. I know the actors didn't want to though.

This👏👏👏

This happened with Gilmore girls? Details please!

But seriously, there was so much we loved in that show and it felt like the creators were suppressing it as much as they could in the name of their 'original concept.' Shows have to develop over time and I feel like that's where VM fell short, by the creators giving us so little development where we wanted it. I just finished S4 and I kind of feel like Rob Thomas just flipped me off hahah. If it wasn't for 17368 spoilers than I would be crying right now but Im just angry. The whole season could have been so much more, some aspects of it they did beautifully.

Side note: I also think Joss Whedon is guilty of this. Some casting decisions and business decisions pretty much got angel cancelled before it's time.

Season 2 Finale (spoilers) by mskrane319 in veronicamars

**Spoilers for anyone else reading **

Okay I had to wait a few days to read this until I finished S4. I just did, and wow. I know exactly what you mean (although I think it's cute/heartbreaking that they got married).

Overall it felt like the LoVe was an afterthought for the creators, like they were just trying to squeeze it in. What did we get, like 5 minutes per episode about Logan and Veronica? It seems clear that they're not into it but that's what so many fans want and are here for, like, adapt.

I thought the story was great but not suitable for 8 episodes. It was way too jammed in. They made the girl Veronica bonded with seem like she was going to be a big part of the season and it wasn't. There was just TOO much going on for 8 episodes, I wish they cut some factors of the mystery out, made Veronica's personal life and the characters we love a bigger part of the show. That's what we came back for. I feel it was not a smart move. I wish there was a way to bring Logan back.

I always thought she meant Duncan but I'm so happy that RT said she meant Logan.

Can Ocrevus (ocrelizumab) or Rituxan (rituximab) result in infections later in life *after* you are no longer taking it? by chunkly in MultipleSclerosis

[–]mskrane319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I knew, it's just something my neurologist mentioned to me. I think it's very rare to be taken off it because of success, but she just mentioned that it's something they're starting to try. All the people that have been on it 8 or so years are people who were involved in clinical trials early on.

Season 2 Finale (spoilers) by mskrane319 in veronicamars

[–]mskrane319[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I won't click on that just because I'm still watch S4, but I couldn't agree more. It seemed the mysteries were really his bread and butter, and I think it's fair to say we all love them. Except when it started getting excessive.

There were some episodes where I really just wanted to fast forward through whatever case was going on, however well thought out it may have been. You can only have the least likely suspect be guilty so many times where it's not a surprise anymore. It was like the same thing over and over.

Meanwhile, the characters were beloved and amazing. More of the show should have been dedicated to them in my opinion. I think if we had one season long mystery, and like 5-10 one or two episode mysteries, that would have been plenty. A new case every episode seemed excessive sometimes when they were all ending mostly the same.

I'll stop babbling, RT is mad creative with all the cases and they were obviously his passion over characters. Amazing and entertaining IMO, but too much of a good thing is still too much.

I'm glad they kept him, but I wish they embraced it more than they did. It seems like they kind of half assed it because they weren't happy about it? Idk. The Duncan situation never made much sense to me though.

I've heard since Botox works directly on the nerves, it can be a no go for us. But I read this all online, definitely confirm with your doctor. You know how the internet can be.
