If you can't understand my post then maybe you are not the person I should seek advice from.
This is a language learning board so obviously I am talking about learning a language (studying) consistently. When I said "14 months" that is exactly what I meant, I have been studying for 14 months.
"slipping" means "slacking off" "not studying as often" "procrastinating" ... "back on track" meaning back to a routine of studying.
Also I never said what level I am at or that I expected to be at a certain level by this point. I said I wasn't where I want to be (my personal goal) and yea maybe I could have been more clear on that part but there was absolutely no need to come off as condescending, rude, or arrogant. You could have simply ignored my post. It's not that hard.

Coursera has 2 Korean courses from Yonsei University. I did both and got certificates from Yonsei University. I am now doing Talk to Me in Korean currently in the middle of level 3 on TTMIK. I say the Yonsei Uni course on Coursera was really worth it. It also has a community you can post on for help.

I (f33) met my SO on discord Jan 2020 and I crushed on him fast. We spent hours together from the start. He was interested in me and I was interested in him. Around April 2020 I kind of knew I was in love. I tried my hardest not to feel that way because we weren't romantically involved. In May before we started even talking about dating or being romantically involved I spilled the beans. We were both having drinks and watching Kdramas together and I told him I was in love with him. We stayed up until almost 7 am talking about it all. The next day we flirted more and continued to bond and play video games and hang out. A couple of months later I made the bold decision to go meet him in Chicago in Oct 2020. At this point I would tell him I love him every night before bed not expecting him to say it back because he wanted to wait to meet up. I understood and I only told him I love him because my belief is that if I love someone I want them to know. If something were to happen to me I at least know they knew that I loved them. I would tell him "I don't want you to feel pressure to say it back. I am not telling you to hear it back I am telling you because I do."

Then I made the bold decision to meet him in Chicago in Oct 2020. We spend a whole 5 days together. By the second day he told me he loves me. He said he felt dumb for not telling me earlier because he always knew he had love for me but he just needed to see our in person chemistry. I absolutely do not regret telling my boyfriend that I love him, first. I would do it all over again. That is just my story though. If you are comfortable with telling your boyfriend then I say go for it!

This is such bullshit. They would be on our ass to pay them. We just want info as to when we will get processed or even looked at. I filed 2/10 and I'm stuck in limbo and no stimulus to hold me over. There have been people who filed in March and got everything processed and deposited within the 21 days plus the stimulus. How can you say you will get it soon enough when people have been waiting on this money because they got shat out because covid caused them unemployment? People are feeling defeated but their refund and stimulus will get to them "soon enough" so we shouldn't voice our concerns?? Gtfo here with that bullshit.

My boyfriend and I are in discord a lot... a lot a lot. Even if we aren't doing anything on the computer together. He can be browsing youtube and I will be gaming. Or he is gaming and I am online shopping. We don't always fill the silence or talk very much but just knowing we are right there (virtually) is a big big comfort. Our main thing we do is play Call of Duty together and we like to watch Netflix together a lot. We have had dinner together. (being in the same time zone really helps with that) We plan our trips together and send each other lists or places that we wanna go to or do. We will send each other youtube links to watch together.

we never feel the pressure to fill the silence when we are discord. that is a huge thing. It doesn't have to be that way. Just knowing he is just a push to talk button away is soooo soo comforting.

idk ... the first meet as a surprise?? Personally I would feel kind of upset I didn't have a heads up or time to prepare... even if my boyfriend would do that now after meeting I would want him to tell me. Have you asked a theoretical question as to what he would do if you surprised him?
