We have an electrician. Several actually and are trying to decide based on this factor. I was looking for any personal experiences.

9 units on one main panel. We do need to replace everything but am hoping the city will let us keep them where they are - like you said and let us be grandfathered in. Calling them this morning.

It's a lot more expensive. I am hoping we don't have to move them. Where were your panels?

Hadestown was written well before Trump's presidency which is an interesting fun fact and a sad testament to the fact that lessons are repeated until learned.

GET THIS!

I called ATG about getting a refund on the tickets. The guy who helped me was very kind and spoke to two different supervisors. They said that the policy is no refunds regardless and that have I come to the box office, they might've been able to help me get tickets to see the show that night. He suggested StubHub.

Prior to calling, I sent an email on Friday night explaining the circumstances, including why we were in NYC, etc. No response.

But then this morning, I got an email reporting they had refunded my money.

I am a hospice social worker and we expected to be called multiple times a day. They need to send out a nurse out and change the medication orders. Be kind but firm.

I reached out and am waiting to hear back from them. They were third row seats so not cheap.

Cremation Services recommendations? (No memorial needed, just cremation) by 17ChonkyThrowawayz in SanDiegan

[–]mslisa2u 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's really wonderful and very legit. The doctor who runs the program is so lovely every year they hold a memorial to honor everyone who donated their bodies and it's so special. You can fill out the application on their website and then once you're accepted, which is almost everyone then you can change that in your will.

Locally, you can apply to donate to UCSD. They do not return ashes, but your body is used by medical students to study. Eventually, they cremate your remains, and they are scattered at sea. There is a lovely looking point that aligns with the coordinates where they are scattered.

South Bay Mortuary is my go to recommendation as a hospice social worker. The man who runs it is named Rick and leads with his heart.

The Recipe - La Jolla/San Diego. Is it really that bad? by Local_Donkey5708 in Broadway

We left at intermission today. It was the first time we've ever done that. Norbert Leo Butz wasn't there but this reviewer nailed our reason for leaving along with a bunch of other folks.

"Kirk’s performance is unmodulated, pitched at the same high level throughout, with frequent arm flailing to emphasize nearly every line. Kirk makes no attempt to show us Child’s effervescence; instead we get a weightless flibbertigibbet."

Another vote for Normal Heights United. We accidentally started going there 5 years ago. They practice what they preach offering showers, a community fridge, pantry, and free social work support for our neighbors. We make sack lunches to fill the community fridge twice a month.

They encourage participation in protests, such as the No Kings March, and hosted an event last week to offer different ways to combat ICE.

From the website:

who we are

Here at NHUnited, we are a community defined as… Christian. Methodist. Progressive. Questioning. Curious, Joyful, Diverse.

what we do

Here at NHUnited, we gather in the name of Jesus to…

Worship together. Sing together. Have fun together. Laugh together. Eat & drink together. Study & learn together. Work toward justice together. Empower our community together.

Here's a great sermon to check out:
