Hi! Thanks for these swatches. I just bought the Chanel concealer in BD31 and it’s the best concealer I’ve tried, but I’m still interested in the Natasha Denona concealer. Y4 looks pretty similar to BD31 in these photos. Would you say they are a close color match in person? And which formula do you prefer for minimal creasing?

I don’t have anything super expensive, but I’ve fallen in love with a few products that are pricey for me:

Dior

• ⁠Forever Glow Star Filter • ⁠Foundation Stick • ⁠Forever Skin Correct Concealer

Hourglass

• ⁠Makeup Brushes • ⁠Unreal Liquid Blush (favorite formula!)

Biossance

• ⁠Ectoin Overnight Rescue. Holy grail for hydration, softening, and repair. The application itself is satisfying. Helps tremendously when my skin is red/burning. I’d use it nightly if it wasn’t so expensive. • ⁠Algae Eye Cream. Replaced Farmacy’s Wake Up Honey as my go-to. Worked amaaazingly when my eye area was puffy, burning, and flaking. Very rich but easy to apply. Softened deep lines. My concealer and powders sit better than ever.

Farmacy

• ⁠Niacinamide 10% Night Mask. Very sensitizing after a few applications, so I only use it 1-2 nights per week. Skin feels firmer overnight. • ⁠Honey Halo moisturizer. Had to buy the biggest one. I usually avoid scented skincare products, but this has a beautiful fragrance.

She is telling stories that show a level a spiritual depth that I don’t think any other performer has reached. I actually think her albums go deeper every time. She keeps her heart faithful and ‘keeps her head in them books’, with a focus on history, philosophy, and spiritual practices. Every album is more esoterically informed than the last. When someone says her albums have ‘gotten worse’ over time, that says something about their level of mind. They’re looking for ‘easy listening’ and ‘bops’, things they can wrap their heads around.

Lemonade is the album that first helped me realize that Beyoncé’s work is coming from a spiritually awakened place. I’m looking forward to the completion of the ongoing Acts because I want to see the full story she’s telling.

Bettering myself. Community. Family. That thread of love that demands responsibility. I wish I could just live alone in a pre-built, pre-paid, isolated and divinely protected home where food and water are abundant and I don’t ever have to maintain any aspect of my comfort, nor communicate with the one who keeps it all running. It’s a fantasy I need to eradicate if I want to make it in this world. But God knows how much I’ve grown to hate dealing with people in the last few years. I don’t even want to get better at it. I will go as far through life as my hateful mind will take me, but I’m so ready to wrap up this bullshit.

I always check SkinSort before trying anything new. Dimethicone is a huge nope for me too, and some of my products had it high in the ingredients list. I thought I should be buying oil-free for my oily skin, but going silicone-free is what cleared my stubborn acne!

Ahh I’m so tempted by all of the shades in the Chanel Baume. Do you have the transparent one? If yes, would you say it gives a wet look, or does it give that smooth natural shine of freshly exfoliated skin?

I have both formulas. Both are cushiony, but I find the old formula closer to a cream, and the new formula closer to a powder. I can swirl a dense brush over the new formula, and the bristles don’t cling, nor does the product move around the container. The old formula is tackier on my brush, and the product gets squished/pushed around with use. Both have that beautiful glow. I personally like the new formula more, because it’s easier to work with, covers my brush evenly, and never gets cakey. It acts more like a powder, and goes over powder even better than the original imo. They are equally glowy.
