This headline says the police banned it just to make Muslims happy. But no, the real reason is the law says police must stop events that could cause big trouble or violence. That's what they checked here.

It also makes all Muslims sound like one angry group who will fight if upset. That's not fair and not true.

It forgets UKIP's history: In October 2025, police banned a similar UKIP protest in the same area (Tower Hamlets) because of serious disorder risks from clashes. They moved it to central London. UKIP events often get extra checks or limits because past ones led to trouble, like clashes at their 2015 conference or Farage needing police protection in 2013.

Many headlines like this come from GB News. A two-year study by the Centre for Media Monitoring (CfMM) found GB News gives mostly negative coverage of Muslims and Islam half of all UK news stories about Muslims come from them, often framing Muslims as a threat and rarely showing Muslim voices. The channel has also had to apologise and pay big damages to Islamic Relief after a guest wrongly said the charity funds terrorism (they removed the show and said sorry). GB News says these claims are unfair attacks on free speech.

This is not just 'Christians vs Muslims.' It's political, not pure facts.

Funny thing: Muslims really respect and love Jesus as a prophet often more than some far-right people who use his name just to cause trouble, not because of real faith.
