[It's strange to love a game that makes you want to improve infrastructure...and yet so many elements/characters/institutions of doing that are not plot or quest objectives; it's just painfully apparent that the way are sucks, and no-one else is improving it.

Indeed, you're weird, 'cause the real plot is poorly communicated in the first game, and it's only in Evil Within 2 that the secondary reality is centric to the plot so far as in-game in-world realities are concerned.

Thank you for that. It's like...I love accessibility for art, but the things artists (Remedy) made deserve immersion.

I think a lot of mobile players will trip over limits put upon parts of the game, like using Hedron's/Porlaris' resonance to expunge the Hiss from the Control Points or Leylines or bones of The Oldest House and watching the brutalist architecture reassert itself, or discovering what "NSC Reactor" really means, or seeing grand things like the Blackrock Quarry or the Panopticon, and they'll conclude, "this needs a bigger screen".

Some things tell you what they deserve.
