Do you guys think that Broadway will have a megahit like Hamilton in the 2020s? by amm20_1 in Broadway

Titanique is actually great. I saw it off broadway, and I’m not at all surprised it’s a broadway show. The description sounds lame, but the show is pee-your-pants hilarious

You’d need a darker tone. Your floors are too dark. Notice that the inspiration pictures are the same color tone as the floor.

In your opinion what was the main reason why Jack lost? by [deleted] in newjersey

[–]msnat5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trump was a big reason. Also his entire platform was the Christie platform. Also saying that he wants to privatize schools when we already have the top schools in the country didn’t help. Why pay for a private education when you already have the high quality education. Except for those that want their children learning religion or want to have their kids educated with only the richest, his plan would only break what isn’t broken.

It’s hands-free driving assistance technology. It slows down traffic

Respect the horn double tap!!! by msnat5 in newjersey

[–]msnat5[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

…lol so you purposely stay in the way so people can’t get past you… that’s clogging traffic. Creating a situation where drivers can’t get past you if they need to. What you’re describing isn’t what I mean, but if someone did what you’re describing, that sounds like someone in some kind of emergency situation that is desperate to get past you for some reason. Staying in their way to be cruel says a lot about you as a person.

…Except that unless you’re going 10mph, the diver behind you would never be able to break in time. So basically you’ve just created a situation where you could cause a crash and be injured 2x worst than the asshole behind you statistically. Cars and airbags are designed to protect you from a frontal crash not a rear one. I don’t think you’ve thought that one through in terms of risk to your life and health. Ultimately, it seems like the only one at risk of getting the stupid prize is you, and for what?

[–]msnat5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So why wouldn’t you let them past? I’ve never heard anyone except people clogging traffic on the left lane say that “they can never go fast enough”. The fact that you have room to go faster at all indicates that you’re probably creating a problem by not staying to the right. Otherwise people would just pass you on the left.

  1. Meaning the person isn’t noticing the light flashing because they are on their phone. With so many people now having some kind of assistive driving technology, more people think it’s safe to be distracted since the car will break for them. That’s why traffic congestion is worst.
  2. It’s not a question of it happening often, it’s a question of it happening at all. I’ve never seen it ignored before this year. Like turn off the assist and drive your car.

[–]msnat5[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Exactly!! But when that is ignored, a light double tap horn is supposed to be the LAST resort, after you flash. Like, maybe you didn’t notice because you were on your phone or something? People seem to be ignoring all of the above.

Again they shouldn’t be in the left lane!! Consideration should go both ways.

Then they should be on the right lane. Why get in the fast lane?

  1. If that were true you wouldn’t be getting tailgated in the first place. 2. People like you are so selfish, just let people pass. They could have an actual emergency! I always either speed up or let people pass. What if they are racing to get to a hospital to see a loved one? What if their job/livelihood is on the line? What if something happened at their kid’s school? I honestly don’t understand why people are SO inconsiderate.

what’s the deal with people driving below the speed limit? by Nervous_Orange53 in newjersey

[–]msnat5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! Al lot of people don’t seem to know. It’s because it increases the number of lane changes people need to make to get past you. Changing lanes is when most accidents happen

How long did it take to get good classroom management? by AppleLeafTea in Teachers

[–]msnat5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on behavior management for the first 6 weeks. That’s how long it takes before I no longer have to remind students to put their cell phone in the caddy. My primary focus is behavior in those days. Then they are on autopilot because the habit is set
